Способ производства железоокисных пигментов и сульфата калиевых удобрений, включающий приготовление суспензии зародышей, отличающийся тем, что на стадии окисления лома металлического в кислой среде для нейтрализации кислоты и регулирования РН используют 20%-й водный раствор калия гидроксид (КОН), осуществляя многократную промывку пигмента, стоки при концентрации солей КОН 5-10% направляют в вакуумную кристаллизационную установку выпарки растворов, где загрязненную солями сульфата калия (K2SO4) технологическую воду методом выпаривания и конденсации преобразуют в чистую воду с концентрацией солей 150 г/м3, которую далее используют в производстве по замкнутому циклу, а полученный при выпаривании соли сульфата калия (K2SO4) используют как дополнительный товарный продукт.
