Способ переработки отвального доменного и мартеновского шлака, включающий дробление и сортировку, отличающийся тем, что грохочением выделяют коржи, затем проводят водную промывку и выделяют пыль и глину, затем отделяют корольковое железо в магнитном поле при напряженности 3000-6000 ∋, после этого дополнительно дробят шлак в роторной дробилке и в магнитном поле при напряженности 7000-9000 ∋ выделяют оксидное железо, шлак подвергают сортировке путем рассева на щебень - шлак крупностью 5-30 мм и шлаковый песок крупностью менее 5 мм, применяемые для приготовления строительных бетонов, растворов, асфальтобетонов, и для изготовления клинкера фракцию пыли и глины.
