Способ переработки ильменитовых концентратов, включающих подготовку шихты, состоящей из ильменитового концентрата и углеродистого восстановителя, ее измельчение, изготовление сырых окатышей с использованием связующего и их сушку, металлизацию, электроплавку и разливку расплава, отличающийся тем, что шихту, состоящую из ильменитового концентрата и углеродистого восстановителя в соотношении 1:(0,09-0,15) соответственно измельчают до размера частиц 70-73 мкм, смешивают со связующим, и с добавлением воды в количестве 6-7.3% от массы, изготавливают окатыши и сушат их при температуре 200-400°С, металлизацию окатышей производят в трубчатой печи при температуре 1100-1300°С, затем горящие окатыши проплавляют в электропечи при температуре 1830-1870°С и выдерживают расплав в электропечи перед разливкой.1.
