Claims (10)

1. Генетически модифицированное, не относящееся к человеку млекопитающее, где модификация включает в себя разрушение гена REDK.
2. Млекопитающее по п.1, где указанное млекопитающее представляет собой мышь.
3. Генетически модифицированная животная клетка, в которой модификация включает в себя разрушение гена REDK.
4. Животная клетка по п.3, где указанная клетка представляет собой ES-клетку или ES-подобную клетку.
5. Животная клетка по п.3, где указанная клетка выделена из генетически модифицированного, не относящегося к человеку млекопитающего по п.1.
6. Животная клетка по п.3, где указанная клетка представляет собой кроветворную клетку или клетку семенников.
7. Животная клетка по п.3, где указанная клетка является мышиной или человеческой [клеткой].
8. Способ идентификации биологической характеристики, ассоциированной со снижением или отменой активности REDK, подразумевающий сравнение биологической характеристики генетически модифицированного, не относящегося к человеку млекопитающего по п.1 или генетически модифицированной животной клетки по п.3, с характеристикой подходящего контроля дикого типа, представляющего собой не относящееся к человеку животное или животную клетку.
9. Способ идентификации гена, который демонстрирует модифицированную экспрессию в результате снижения или отмены активности REDK, подразумевающий сравнение уровня экспрессии по меньшей мере одного гена, отличного от REDK, в животной клетке по п.3, с экспрессией данного гена в подходящей животной клетке дикого типа служащей контролем.
10. Способ идентификации белка, который демонстрирует модифицированный уровень или посттрансляционный процессинг в результате снижения активности REDK в животной клетке, подразумевающий сравнение уровня или посттрансляционных характеристик данного белка в животной клетке по п.3 с уровнем или посттрансляционными характеристиками данного белка в подходящей животной клетке дикого типа, служащей контролем.
