Способ локализации и тушения лесного пожара, заключающийся в воздействии на него воздушной ударной волной, создаваемой подрывом шнурового заряда ВВ, расположенного в пологе леса на заданной высоте эквидистантно фронту пожара в вертикальной и (или) горизонтальной плоскости, осуществляемым в момент подхода пожара, отличающийся тем, что доставку в составе укладок и поочередное размещение цепью зарядов ВВ осуществляют путем прицельного сброса с борта воздушного средства доставки на переднюю кромку пожара с заранее определенным темпом и обеспечением управляемого баллистического спуска, развертывания и стабилизации в заданном положении относительно подвергаемой воздействию поверхности, после чего производят дистанционный подрыв зарядов ВВ по мере достижения каждым из них заданного положения.1.
