Способ оценки функционального состояния легких с помощью термодатчиков, помещенных на пути газового потока, отличающийся тем, что одновременно регистрируют изменения температуры вдыхаемой и выдыхаемой газовой смеси в течение всего дыхательного цикла, его длительность и объем выдыхаемого воздуха, а количество тепла, выделяемого при дыхании, рассчитывают по формуле

С - средняя теплоемкость воздуха в температурном интервале от 20 до 40oС, кал/г/К;
ρ - средняя плотность воздуха в температурном интервале от 20 до 40oС, г/см3;
V - объем выдыхаемого воздуха, мл;
t1-t2 - длительность дыхательного цикла, с;
Т - температура дыхательной смеси, oС.
