Inventia se refera la un procedeu de separare a molibdenului din catalizatori uzati de tipul Ni-Mo-Al2O3 si Co-Mo-Al2O3 avînd continut de 6...9% Mo prin calcinarea catalizatorului la temperatura de 200-550 degree C, timp de 1...2 h, urmata de lesierea molibdenului cu solutie 5...20% Na2CO3. Conditiile de lesiere sînt: raport S:t=1; 1:4, temperatura de lucru 60...80 degree C, timpul de reactie 20...60 min. Molibdenul din solutie se precipita sub forma de metamolibdat de amoniu, precipitarea realizîndu-se cu acid clorhidric si urotropina. Metamolibdenul de amoniu se calcineaza pentru trecere în trioxid de molibden, materie prima pentru prepararea catalizatorilor.
