Abstract

Procedeu de etilare selectiva a toluenului sau a etilbenzenului cu un agent de etilare ales dintre etilena, alcool etilic, halogenura de etil, dietileter, etilmercaptan sau sulfura de dietil, la temperatura cuprinsa între 250 si 600 degree C, la presiunea cuprinsa între 0,1 si 100 at, cu o viteza spatiala orara de alimentare 0,1....1000 si un raport de alimentare toluen sau etilbenzen si agent de etilare cuprins între 1 si 10, reactia avand loc în prezenta unui catalizator pe baza de aluminosilicati cristalini, caracterizat prin aceea ca, în scopul maririi selectivitatii în vederea obtinerii dietilbenzenului, deci, formarii produselor gazoase secundare, catalizatorul de baza de aluminosilicati cristalini are raportul SiO2/Al2O3 cuprins între 70 si1600 si un indice de constructie cuprins între 1 si 12.
