Abstract
Isoxazolidine derivs. of formula (I) are new. In (I) a = 1-2; X = O or NOH; each R1 = H, halo, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy; provided that the o-position is H; R2 = lower alkyl; lower alkoxy; or phenoxy or phenylamino ring substd. by 1-3 of lower alkyl, halo and lower alkoxy. Specifically claimed are 7 cpds. (I) e.q. ethyl 3-(4-chlorophenyl) -3-(1H-imidazol-1-ylmethyl) -2-methylisoxazolidine-5-carboxylate (Ia), 4-chlorophenyl 3-(4-fluorophenyl) -3-(1H-imidazol-1-ylmethyl) -2-methylisoxazolidine-5-carboxylate and 1-(3-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-(1H -imidazol-1-yl)methyl)-2-methylisoxazolidin-5-yl)ethanone oxime.
