Abstract

The method involves closing a tube on one side, where the tube is provided for a formation of a bag (2). A pre-determined portion of a bulk material is filled in the bag. A longitudinal section (18) that forms the bag is separated from the filled packing material. The filled bag is transferred in an uprightly standing manner to a working section (8), where the longitudinal section of the packing material is attached on the working region against the filled bag. The longitudinal section is attached in a working station (20) against the filled bag. An independent claim is also included for a device for attaching and fixing a filled bag that is formed from a packaging material.
