Abstract
Door or window lock which mainly consists of a lock case (2) in which has been provided a movable dead bolt (9, 51) between a position in which a body (10) of the dead bolt (9, 51) is situated entirely or almost entirely in the lock case (2) and a position of rest in which this body (10) is situated largely outside the lock case (2) and whereby a stop is provided in the lock case (2) which restricts the movement of the dead bolt (9, 51) outside the lock case (2), characterised in that the dead bolt (9, 51) is fixed in the lock case (2) in a rotatable or detachable manner and in that the above-mentioned stop is variable, such that the body (10) of the dead bolt (9, 51) can be moved entirely outside the lock case (2) without opening the lock case (2).
