Abstract

A leak-proof flange comprises an internal annular body 1 comprising, in elastic material, lipped internal thickenings 8a,8b, having internal diameters directly related with the outside diameter of the pipes 6,7 to be connected on which they will be coupled allowing an immediate fastening and tightness when connecting the two pipes 6,7 having a different outside diameter, remaining located on the end faces of the said internal annular body 1, retaining metal rings and anchorage 3, provided on its internal edges of a continuous series of fold 4 in sharp vertex 5, which are strongly supported on the external smooth face of the ends of the pipes 6,7 to be connected, being completed with an external metallic cylindric casing 2 provided with the suitable fastening and tightening elements for the whole of the assembly.
