Abstract

The subject of the application is the in vitro test system shown in the drawing - measuring the strength and/or mobility of biokinematic chains, allowing for mapping the actual work of the entire or fragments of the biokinematic chain - joint mobility, i.e. combinations of joints, muscles, bones, which constitute a specific movement system, as well as measuring the strength and mobility of fragments or entire biokinematic chains, especially tendon tissues. The application also concerns a method of measuring the strength and/or mobility of fragments or entire biokinematic chains and mapping the actual work of fragments or entire biokinematic chains. The application is applicable in the study of preserved or fresh preparations taken post mortem from human or animal bodies. The application finds application in the analysis of the efficiency of the musculoskeletal system, especially the movement of the human spine, and can be used as a surrogate instrument that replicates movements performed in anatomical positions in the sagittal, frontal or transverse plane, including the behavior of individual parts of the human spine, including ligaments, tendons and muscles associated with the human musculoskeletal system.
