Abstract

The subject of the application is a method of producing reactive iron oxygen carriers with the use of coke wastewater sludge generated in the coke wastewater chemical treatment plant in the form of ashes from the sludge roasting processes. This method is characterized by the fact that the sediments formed in the chemical coagulation process carried out with iron salt or electrocoagulation carried out with the use of iron electrodes are dried at room temperature for 24 hours, and then dried in an oven at 105 ° C for 1-3 hours. so that they contain in their composition from 53% to 75% by weight of iron oxides, and then they are ground to a diameter of less than 0.5 mm, and the further comminuted sludge is calcined in an oxygen atmosphere for 15 minutes to 3 hours.
