Sposób otrzymywania nowego olejku zapachowego z nasion marchwi zwyczajnej polega na tym, że zmielone nasiona marchwi homogenizuje się w wodzie o pH~6,6, po czym tak przygotowane nasiona poddaje się działaniu ozonu w temperaturze 10 - 40°C, następnie pH homogenizatu doprowadza się do wartości > 7 i w końcu poddaje homogenizat procesowi hydrodestylacji lub destylacji z parą wodną.
