Abstract
Przedmiotem wynalazku jest niskotemperaturowy sposób wytwarzania powłok przeciwbakteryjnych na powierzchni materiałów metalicznych, tworzyw naturalnych i sztucznych, a zwłaszcza na powierzchni włókien. Pokryte takimi powłokami materiały mogą być wykorzystywane w szeroko pojętej medycynie jako elementy ochrony osobistej (maseczki ochronne) czy też jako przyrządy medyczne i/lub narzędzia chirurgiczne, narażone na działanie bakterii i wirusów (zwłaszcza typu Escherichia coli, czy Staphylococcus aureus). Sposób polega na tym, że najpierw powierzchnię narzędzi, urządzeń, przyrządów lub elementów ochrony osobistej poddaje się oczyszczaniu za pomocą rozpuszczalników organicznych i wody dejonizowanej. Następnie na oczyszczoną powierzchnię, w temperaturze 20 - 200°C osadza się powłokę z co najmniej jednej warstwy materiału tlenkowego, korzystnie ZnO lub TiO2 lub ZrO2 lub HfO2 lub Al2O3, korzystnie za pomocą techniki ALD.
