Abstract

A drive mechanism for a curved sliding door consists of a continuous belt (5) that runs over deflection rollers (1, 2, 3, 4) and is linked on each side with a slider (8, 9) that travels on a slide rail (10, 11). The sliders (8, 9) are connected with the moving wings (16, 17) by means of connector arms (14, 15). The continuous belt is driven by a motor (21) which through the deflection of the belt brings the moving wings into either the open position or the closed position.
