Abstract

The machine i.e. laundry dryer (1), has a drum (3) rotatably supported in a housing (2), and a loading opening (5) lockable with a door (4). A fragrance center carrier is arranged in an air duct designed as a bypass (13), such that scenting duration of the fragrance center carrier is regulatable and/or controllable during drying process. The fragrance center carrier is located in a thermally isolated chamber that is arranged in the bypass such that the fragrance from the fragrance center carrier is released at arbitrary time of the drying process and conveyed into laundry.
