Abstract

Connecting bores (17) extend between a preferably conical feed region (13) and a ring-shaped cavity (19) in the distributor (5). A rib (16) protrudes from each outlet opening (14) in the feed region and ribs also extend between the ring-shaped cavity and connecting bores. The product is supplied to the feed region via a feed pipe (7). The outlet openings in the feed region lead to feed bores (8) communicating with a centrifuge region of the drum (1). The ring-shaped cavity is located above the free end of the feed region.
