Abstract

The disclosed embodiments relates to a method performed by an apparatus (1200) and also relates to an apparatus (1200). The method includes transmitting (1101) to a communication device a burst including a subframe; receiving (1102) from the communication device a HARQ valus associated with the subframe; and determining (1103) a random backoff contention window size based on the received HARQ values and also based on previously unused HARQ feedbacks. The apparatus (1200) is configured to perform the method steps described above.
