Abstract
An integrated waste incinerating and purifying apparatus (100) comprising a closeable opening (101) for receiving the waste, a combustion chamber (102) for thermally decomposing the received waste in excess air from which ash and exhaust gases are produced, a collector (103) disposed within the combustion chamber (102) for collecting the ashes and non-combusted solids, an exhaust gas purifying unit (104) mounted on the combustion chamber (102); wherein the exhaust gas purifying unit (104) includes a liquid-based adsorbent medium (1045) which adsorbs uncollected ash or toxic compounds from the exhaust gas, and a solid-based adsorbent medium (1046) for entrapping any remaining toxic compound which passes through the liquid- based adsorbent medium (1046), and an outlet (105) attached to the exhaust gas purifying unit (104) for expelling the purified gases to the atmosphere.
