Abstract
La invencion propuesta se refiere a un proceso de elaboracion del agente depresante que incluye, en porcentaje en peso: disolver 10-40% de acido humico o derivados de acido humico en 50-80% de agua a una temperatura entre 15- 300C y solubilizar adicionando 1-10% de hidroxido de potasio o hidroxido de sodio; la temperatura subira debido a la solvatacion del hidroxido de potasio o de sodio (30-45°C); dejar reaccionar y homogenizar por un tiempo entre 20-60 minutos; hacer reaccionar el producto anterior con 1-15% de un acido fulvico para generar un producto que cumple la funcion de controlar el zinc y el hierro en la flotacion. La finalidad de esta invencion es reemplazar en su totalidad al sulfato de zinc, reduciendo la dosis del agente depresante de reemplazo en hasta 10 veces menos; asimismo, reduciendo la cantidad de CuS04 empleado en el proceso de flotacion, entre otras mejoras.
