Abstract

Aparatos, sistemas y metodos de resonancia magnetica (RM) para analizar un material. Los aparatos de resonancia magnetica incluyen un bucle primario que define una abertura que puede atravesar el material que se analiza en donde el bucle primario incluye al menos un par de segmentos electricamente conductores. El aparato de resonancia magnetica tambien incluye un par de unidades de capacitancia correspondientes a cada par de segmentos electricamente conductores. Cada unidad de capacitancia se conecta conductoramente con dos segmentos conductores adyacentes en serie, de manera que el bucle primario forme un circuito para una corriente de radiofrecuencia (RF). El bucle primario esta adaptado para: conducir la corriente electrica de RF, de manera que la corriente electrica de RF se encuentre predominantemente en fase en la totalidad del bucle primario. El aparato de resonancia magnetica ademas incluye: un par de bobinas secundarias correspondientes a cada par de unidades de condensador, electricamente conductoras, aisladas del bucle primario. Cada bobina secundaria esta c5rientada para acoplarse magneticamente al bucle primario, de manera tal que cada bobina secundaria sea capaz de excitar voltajes de RF en el bucle primario que estan predominantemente en fase con cada uno de los voltajes de RF excitados por las bobinas secundarias. El aparato de resonancia magnetica tambien incluye un blindaje primario que abarca el bucle primario y las bobinas secundarias para blindar la radiacion electromagnetica, el blindaje primario adaptado para permitir material atraviese la abertura definida por el bucle primario que no esta obstruida.
