QUE COMPRENDE LOS SIGUIENTES PASOS: A) DETERMINAR EL CONTENIDO DE ALUMINA Y SILICE EN LA MENA; B) COLOCAR LA MENA TENIENDO ALUMINA MAYOR AL 5% Y SILICE MENOR AL 50% DEL TOTAL DE MASA DE MENA EN EL RECIPIENTE DE REACCION; C) TRATAR LA MENA CON CAUSTICO A UNA TEMPERATURA DE 280-350 ºC Y A UNA PRESION DE 1-150 atm., OPCIONALMENTE CON LA ADICION DE UN ADITIVO (I), PARA FORMAR UNA MASA INTERMEDIA INCLUYENDO ALUMINATO, SILICATO, VANADATO Y OTRAS IMPUREZAS; D) FILTRAR LA MASA INTERMEDIA CON AGUA EN EL RECIPIENTE DE REACCION PARA SEPARAR EL BARRO ROJO INSOLUBLE COMO RESIDUO Y OBTENER UN FILTRADO QUE CONTENGA ALUMINATO, SILICATO, VANADATO Y OTRAS IMPUREZAS; E) SEPARAR EL SILICATO, VANADATO Y OTRAS IMPUREZASCOMO RESIDUO DEL FILTRADO POR CALENTAMIENTO CON UN ADITIVO (II), A UNA TEMPERATURA DE 50-350 ºC Y POR ENFRIAMIENTO DE 4-300 ºC PARA OBTENER ALCOHOL DE ALUMINATO BENEFICIADO; Y F) EXTRAER LA ALUMINA DEL ALCOHOL DE ALUMINATO BENEFICIADO POR UN METODO CONVENCIONAL. EL CAUSTICO, ADITIVO (I) Y EL ADITIVO (II) SON SELECCIONADOS DE UN GRUPO DE METALES DE TIERRA ALCALINOS, LOS CUALES INCLUYEN OXIDOS, HIDROXIDOS, CARBONATO DE CALCIO, BARIO, ESTRONCIO Y MAGNESIOWHICH INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING STEPS: A) DETERMINE THE ALUMIN AND SILICA CONTENT IN THE MENA; B) PLACE THE ORE HAVING ALUMIN GREATER THAN 5% AND SILICA LESS THAN 50% OF THE TOTAL MASS OF ORE IN THE REACTION VESSEL; C) TREAT THE ORE WITH CAUSTIC AT A TEMPERATURE OF 280-350 ºC AND AT A PRESSURE OF 1-150 atm., OPTIONALLY WITH THE ADDITION OF AN ADDITIVE (I), TO FORM AN INTERMEDIATE MASS INCLUDING ALUMINATE, SILICATE, VANADATE AND OTHER IMPURITIES ; D) FILTER THE INTERMEDIATE MASS WITH WATER IN THE REACTION VESSEL TO SEPARATE THE INSOLUBLE RED MUD AS RESIDUE AND OBTAIN A FILTER CONTAINING ALUMINATE, SILICATE, VANADATE AND OTHER IMPURITIES; E) SEPARATE THE SILICATE, VANADATE AND OTHER IMPURITIES AS A RESIDUE FROM THE FILTERING BY HEATING WITH AN ADDITIVE (II), AT A TEMPERATURE OF 50-350 ºC AND BY COOLING OF 4-300 ºC TO OBTAIN BENEFITED ALUMINATE ALCOHOL; AND F) EXTRACTING THE ALUMIN FROM THE BENEFITED ALUMINATE ALCOHOL BY A CONVENTIONAL METHOD. THE CAUSTIC, ADDITIVE (I) AND ADDITIVE (II) ARE SELECTED FROM A GROUP OF EARTH ALKALINE METALS, WHICH INCLUDE OXIDES, HYDROXIDES, CALCIUM CARBONATE, BARIUM, STRONTIUM AND MAGNESIUM
