IT ALSO REFERS TO AN APPARATUS FOR MIXING TWO GASES IN A CONVERTER TO PRODUCE SO3, FROM A GAS CONTAINING SO2, INCLUDING: a) A MIXING CHAMBER TO WHICH A FIRST FLOW OF GAS IS SUPPLIED IN A FIRST DIRECTION; AND b) A SUPPLY PIPE FOR A SECOND GAS FLOW; WHERE, THE MIXING CHAMBER IS PROVIDED IN THE FORM OF A RING AROUND THE SUPPLY DUCT WHICH CONNECTS WITH THE SUPPLY DUCT, AND INCLUDES A CONNECTING TUBE THAT EXTENDS FROM THE MIXING CHAMBER IN THE FIRST DIRECTION PARTICULAR FROM BOTTOM TO TOP, AND THAT THE MIXING CHAMBER IS CONNECTED WITH AN INTEGRATED HEAT EXCHANGER
