EL Co SE RECUPERA EN LA FORMA DE HIDROXIDO, OXIDO, SULFATO O CARBONATO DE Co (ANADIENDO SODA)WHERE THE PROCESS INCLUDES: a) PREPARATION OR PRE-TREATMENT OF THE MINERAL FOR ITS ENRICHMENT THROUGH THE DISPOSAL OF SILICA, WHICH INCLUDES FRAGMENTATION (PRIMARY AND SECONDARY), SURVEY FOR THE RELEASE OF THE FINE PARTICLES, CLASSIFICATION FOR DISPOSAL OF GRUIT MATERIAL OF SILICONE, AND WEAR TO MAXIMIZE THE RECOVERY OF Ni; b) ACID LEACHING OF PRE-TREATED MINERAL, IN THE PRESENCE OF H2SO4 or HCl AND UNDER PRESSURE AND / OR ATMOSPHERIC; c) TREATMENT OF THE EFFLUENT SOLUTION OBTAINED IN (b) USING ION EXCHANGE RESIN APPLIED TO THE PULP; d) ELUTION OR DESORPTION OF THE RESIN, USING REGENERATED HCl FROM (i); e) REMOVAL OF COPPER AND OTHER IMPURITIES THROUGH PRECIPITATION USING ACID SULFATE OF SODIUM OR H2S; f) SUBMIT THE SOLUTION THAT STILL CONTAINS Ni AND Co TO SOLVENT EXTRACTION (FOR CO: TERTIARY AMINE IN HCl MEDIUM, HCl REGENERATED FROM (i) or PHOSPHINIC ACID, AND FOR Ni: CARBOXYL ACIDS AND / OR DERIVATIVES OF PHOSPHORIC ACIDS IN SULPHATE MEDIUM); g) STRIPPING OR RE-EXTRACTION USING REGENERATED HCl FROM (i); h) PRECIPITATION OF Co IN THE FORM OF CARBONATE OR ANY OTHER INTERMEDIATE PRODUCT SUCH AS SULPHATE, OXIDE, HYDROXIDE; E, i) PYROHYDROLYSIS OF THE SOLUTION CONTAINING Ni, OBTAINING OR IN THE FORM OF HCl. BEFORE (c). THE RESINS PRESENT ACID, AMINO ACID OR PICOLILAMINE FUNCTIONAL GROUP. THE CONCENTRATION OF HCl IN (d) IS BETWEEN 50 AND 150 g / L. CO IS RECOVERED IN THE FORM OF CO HYDROXIDE, OXIDE, SULPHATE OR CARBONATE (ADDING SODA)
