Claims (9)
- 정렬몸체(3)와, 외부 광학섬유(2)와의 광학 커플링을 위해 상기 정렬몸체(3)내의 일정길이의 웨이브 가이드(4)를 포함하는 광학섬유용 커넥터(1)에 있어서, 상기 정렬몸체(3)는 상기 일정길이의 웨이브 가이드(4)와 단일 구조로 구성되고, 상기 일정길이의 웨이브 가이드(4)는 광학적 커플링을 위해 광학섬유(2)를 수용하는 통로(5)를 정렬몸체(3)내에 제공하기 위해 정렬몸체(3)와 단일 구조로 구성된 동시에 단축되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학섬유용 커넥터(1).
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 웨이브 가이드(4)의 길이는 정렬몸체(3)내에 리세스된 에칭된 단부면(24)에 의해 단축되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학섬유용 커넥터(1).
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 정렬몸체(3)내에 리세스된 웨이브 가이드(4)의 연마된 단부면(24)과 상기 정렬몸체(3)의 연마부는 상기 일정길이의 웨이브 가이드(4)의 직경보다 큰 직경을 갖는 통로(5)를 한정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 섬유용 커넥터(1).
- 제1항, 제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 상기 정렬 몸체(3)와 상기 웨이브 가이드(4)는 상이한 광학적 굴절율과, 유사한 열팽창 계수 및 온도 대점성을 갖는 광학적 전송 물질인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 섬유용 커넥터(1).
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 정렬몸체(3)와 상기 일정길이의 웨이브 가이드(4)는 동심이고, 그것들의 직경의 비는 일정한 것을 특징으로 하는 광학섬유용 커넥터(1).
- 봉(15)과 튜브(16)의 대응 직경을 적어도 9μ대 1㎜의 일정비로 유지하면서, 코어 물질보다 낮은 굴절율을 갖는 광학적 전송 피복 물질의 흐름 가능한 튜브(16)내에서 광학적 전송 코어 물질의 흐름 가능한 봉(15)을 인발하는 인발공정과, 상기 코어 물질과 정렬된 광학섬유(2)를 수용하기 위한 상기 피복 물질내에 통로(5)를 제공하기 위해, 상기 코어 물질이 상기 피복 물질과 단일 구조이면서 응고 되었을 때 상기 코어 물질을 단축시키는 단축공정을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 커넥터(1) 제조방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 코어 물질을 에칭하므로써 상기 코어 물질을 단축시키는 공정과, 상기 코어 물질의 단부면(24)을 산연마하는 연마 공정을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 커넥터(1) 제조방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 코어 물질을 연마하므로써 상기 코어 물질을 단축시키는 단축 공정과, 상기 피복 물질을 연마하므로써 상기 통로(5)를 확대하는 확대 공정을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 커넥터(1) 제조방법.
- 제6항, 제7항 또는 제8항에 있어서, 상기 코어 물질의 단부(26,34)를 상기 피복 물질의 단부(25,35)와 동일 평면이 되도록 연마하는 연마 공정을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 커넥터(1) 제조방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
