Abstract

Pyridinium, quinolinium and isoquinolinium salts of formula (I) are prepared. In (I), A= residue of a chelating agent capable of chelating with ametallic radiomucleotide and having at least one p-, s- or t-amino functional gp., this gp. not being essential for the complexing properties; the residue is characterized by the absence of at least one of the p-, s-, t-amino functional gp.; y= 1 or 2; B= gp. of formula (II), (III) or (IV), each attached through the N atom; n, p, q= 0, 1 or 2; R= halogen, C1-7 alkyl, C1-7 alkoxy, C2-8 alkoxycarbonyl, etc.; X= anion of inorgainc acid; t= valence of the anion; S= integer; and S times t=y.
