Description

살균제 조성물
본 발명은 소듐 클로라이드 수용액과 산, 바람직하게는 락틴산을 약 15wt%로 배합하여 제조한 살균제 조성물에 관한 것이다.
본 발명에 의하여 생성된 용액의 pH를 7이하로 감소시키기에 층분한 양의 산을 포함하고 있는 것으로 공기중의 미생물뿐만 아니라 여러가지의 물질들에 존재하는 미생물들에 대하여 살미생물 활성을 갖는 것이다.
염소화합물들의 살균제로서의 활성은 오랫동안 알려져온 것이나, 이러한 공지의 제제들에는 여러가지의 단점이 있는 것이다.
예를들면, 염소화된 페놀(예를들면, 헥사클로로펜)은 인체에 심각한 독성 및 치사작용을 나타내며 염소가스는 폐로 흡입된 경우에 치명적이고 차아염소산 용액은 유기물에 의하여 불활성화 되거나 희석하여 사용하는 경우에는 비교적 곧 활성이 소실되는 등의 단점이 있는 것이다.
본 발명에서는 소듐 클로라이드에 산을 가하여 병원 미생물 및 아포를 포함하는 모든 형태의 미생물들을 단시간내에 살멸시킬 수 있는 극히 효과적인 살균제인 이산화염소(CIO2)를 생성시키는데, 이렇게하여 생성된 살균물질은 인체에 대하여 극히 적은 독성만을 나타내는 것이다.
본 발명의 산 유래의 생성물인 CIO2는 생성된 CIO2와 반응하는 경향이 있는 광산에 의하여 생성된 것보다 훨씬 효과적이므로, 본 발명은 살균제로서 유용한 생성물의 유효량을 감소시키는 것이다.
소듐 클로라이드의 양을 증가시키면 증가시킬수록 CIO2로 더 많이 생성될 것이나, 이는 공기중의 미생물에 사용하는 경우에 사용자에게 독성을 유발시킬 위험이 있는 것이다.
이러한 조성물을 제조함에 있어서 락틴산과 같은 산을 사용하는 것은 락틴산이 클로라이드와 반응하여 이산화염소, 아염소산, 락틴산 및 소듐락데이트로된 혼합물을 생성시키기 때문에 중요한 것이다. 또한, 이러한 물질들로된 평형 혼합물에 의해서는 복합체가 형성되는데, 이러한 혼합물 또는 복합체는 비교적 안정하므로 2주일 또는 그 이상동안까지 살미생물로서의 활성을 유지하는 것이다.
한편, 본 발명에서는 생성된 용액에 열 또는 음파에너지를 가하여 용액의 살미생물 활성을 더욱 증가시켜 사용하기도 한다.
본 발명의 용액은 침지용액 및 (클로라이드와 락틴산을 에어로졸 형태의 분리용기에 분리하여 넣은 경우에 각 용기마다 벨브 분산장치가 장치되어 있어 각각의 용액이 미세한 안개형태로 자동적으로 분산될 수 있다는 조건하에서) 에어로졸 형태로 또는 1평방 센티미터당 약 1왓트의 강도를 지닌 세척조내에서의 세척용액등으로 사용되는데, 용액에 용이하게 또는 안전하게 침지될 수 없는 물체들을 처리코져하는 경우에는 스폰지, 천 또는 가아제등에 적셔서 사용한다.
본 발명에서는 락틴산을 단독으로 사용하거나 또는 다른 산들과 배합하여 사용하는데, 이러한 다른 산들로는 수용성이거나 수분산성인 아세트산, 시트르산, 아스코르빈산, 소르빈산, 푸마르산 및 탄닌산과 같은 유기산 및/또는 염산, 황산, 인산, 질산, 붕산 및 그 유사물질과 같은 무기산을 사용한다.
용액을 완충시킬 필요가 있는 경우 특히, 생체조직이나 음식물에 사용하는 경우에는 통상적으로 탄산염/중탄산염 또는 인산염, 질산염, 아질산염 또는 다른 염들과 같은 완충제를 사용하여 완충시킨다.
클로라이드의 바람직한 형태는 소듐염의 형태이나 포타슘 또는 알카리금속 또는 알카리토금속류의 금속과의 염과 같은 다른 수용성의 형태들도 사용할 수 있다.
클로라이드에 락틴산을 가하여 형성시킨 최종의 용액을 물로 희석하여 용액의 용량을 증가시킴으로서 용액의 정가(net cost)를 낮출 수 있는 동시에 용액의 독성을 극히 안전한 선까지 저하시킬 수 있는데, 이러한 용액은 몇몇의 식품, 식품처리장치 및 기구들에 안전하게 사용될 수 있다.
또한, 이 용액을 사람들이 모이는 병원, 진료소, 공공 및 사용건물, 학교, 가정 및 다른 여러 장소에서 질병을 유발시키는 미생물들을 제거, 조절 및 파괴시키는데 사용될 수 있으며, 동물이 모여있는 장소 또는 온실, 곡물창고, 수경 재배장치 및 식물, 곰팡이, 효모등이 생성될 수 있는 기타의 장소들 뿐만 아니라 그들이 제조되거나 발견될 수 있는 장소에서 살미생물제로서 효과적으로 사용될 수 있다.

Claims (5)

  1. 클로라이드 수용액에 최종의 pH가 7이하가 되도록 산 약 15wt% 혼합함을 특징으로 하는 살균제 조성물.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 클로라이드 수용액은 알카리 금속 및 알카리토금속으로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 금속과의 수용성의 염용액임을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 산은 수용성이거나 수분산성인 유기 및/또는 무기산임을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 클로라이드 수용액은 소듐 클로라이드 수용액임을 특징으로 하는 조성물
  5. 제3항에 있어서, 산은 락틴산염을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
