- 질량%로,
C:0.001~0.20%,
Si:0.15% 이하,
Mn:0.50% 이하,
P:0.030% 이하,
S:0.010% 이하,
Cu:0.10% 이하,
Mg:0.15% 이하,
Ti:0.005~1.0%,
Nb:0.040~1.0%,
Fe:0.40% 이하,
sol. Al:0.01~0.10%, 및,
N:0.0010~0.080%를 함유하고, 잔부가 Ni 및 불순물로 이루어지며, 식 (1) 및 식 (2)를 만족하는 화학 조성을 가지는, 니켈재.

0.030<(3/48)Ti+(88/93)Nb-(1/12)C (2)
여기서, 식 (1) 및 식 (2) 중의 각 원소 기호에는, 대응하는 원소의 함유량(질량%)이 대입된다. - 청구항 1에 기재된 니켈재의 제조 방법으로서,
C, Si, Mn, P, S, Cu, Mg, Nb, Fe 및 Al을 첨가하여 용탕을 제조하고, 상기 용탕 중의 sol. Al 함유량을 0.01% 이상으로 하는 공정과,
sol. Al 함유량이 0.01% 이상인 상기 용탕에 대해 Ti를 첨가하여 고용시킨 후에 N을 첨가하여, 상기 용탕 중에 Ti 질화물을 형성하는 공정과,
상기 Ti 질화물이 형성된 상기 용탕을 이용하여 상기 화학 조성을 가지는 니켈재를 제조하는 공정을 구비하는, 니켈재의 제조 방법.
