도 4는 테이핑 후에 도 3의 버트 조인트의 추가 확대도이다; 및
도 5는 도 1의 천장 위에서의 부분 사시도이다.
Claims (7)
- 서스펜션된 드라이월 천장 격자 구조물(suspended drywall ceiling grid construction)로서,
복수의 균일하게 이격된 평행한 판금 지지 바들(bar),
상기 지지 바들의 하부 측면들 상에 지지된 복수의 이격된 격자 티들(grid tee)을 포함하되,
상기 지지 바들은 격자 티 보강 벌브(grid tee reinforcing bulb)들에 맞물려 지지하기 위해 규칙적으로 이격된 중심(center)들을 갖고,
상기 중심들 및 격자 티들은 공통 평면에서 상기 격자 티들의 플랜지(flange)들의 하부 겉면(lower face)을 제공하도록 구성되고 배열되며,
상기 지지 바들은 버트 조인트 티(butt joint tee)를 수용하기 위해 상기 규칙적으로 이격된 중심들 사이에 중간 중심들을 가지며,
상기 중간 중심들 및 버트 조인트 티들은 상기 버트 조인트 티들의 플랜지들의 하부 겉면을 상기 공통 평면 위쪽에 미리 결정된 거리에 있는 평면에 제공하도록 구성되고 배열되는, 구조물. - 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 중간 중심들은 상기 규칙적으로 이격된 중심들의 인접한 쌍들 사이의 중간에 배치되는, 구조물.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 규칙적으로 이격된 중심들 및 상기 중간 중심들은 동일하고, 상기 버트 조인트 격자 티들은 상기 규칙적으로 이격된 격자 티들보다 수직으로 더 짧은, 구조물.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 지지 바 중심들은 상기 격자 티들의 상단 부분들에 상기 보강 벌브들을 수용하도록 비율에 맞게 조절된(proportioned) 열쇠 구멍 모양의(keyhole) 슬롯을 포함하는, 구조물.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 버트 조인트 격자 티들은 인접한 바들 사이의 간격보다 더 길고, 인접한 바들 사이의 간격과 비교하여 짧은 캔틸리버된(cantilevered) 단부 부분들을 갖는, 구조물.
- 청구항 5에 있어서, 근위 바(proximal bar)로부터 천장 에지까지의 간격이 바(bar)들, 바의 세그먼트(segment) 사이의 간격보다 작은 상기 격자의 마진 영역은, 드라이월 시트들 사이의 버트 조인트가 계획되어 상기 에지에 인접하는 규칙적으로 이격된 격자 티 사이의 공간을 가교(bridge)하고, 상기 바 세그먼트는 버트 조인트 격자 티를 수용하는 중심을 갖는, 구조물.
- 드라이월 천장의 버트 조인트를 테이핑하고 마무리하는 방법에 있어서,
판금 행거 바(sheet metal hanger bar)들의 격자 및 상기 지지 바들로부터 그리고 그 아래에 횡방향으로 서스펜션된 판금 격자 티(sheet metal grid tee)들을 구성하는 단계,
규칙적인 중심들에서 상기 행거 바들 상에 격자 티들을 배치하는 단계,
상기 규칙적인 중심들에서 인접한 티들의 쌍들 사이에 버트 조인트 티(butt joint tee)들을 배치하는 단계로서, 상기 버트 조인트 티들은 규칙적으로 이격된 격자 티들의 플랜지들 위로 상승된 드라이월 시트 수용 플랜지들을 갖는, 상기 버트 조인트 티들을 배치하는 단계,
상기 시트들 및 상기 플랜지들을 통과하여 드라이브된 나사들에 의해 상기 격자 상에 드라이월의 시트들을 매다는 단계(hanging)로서, 상기 시트들의 단부들은 상기 버트 조인트 티들 아래에 정합되고 나사 결합되어 상기 시트들의 상기 버트 단부들이 상기 규칙적으로 이격된 격자 티들 아래에 상기 시트들의 주 겉면 영역들이 놓인 평면 위로 당겨지고, 상기 주 겉면 영역들의 평면 위에 그리고 상기 시트의 상기 버트 조인트 단부들 아래에 존이 조인트 테이프 및 조인트 컴파운드에 의해 채워지는, 상기 매다는 단계에 의한, 방법.
