6번 염색체, MHC(major histocompatibility complex) 로커스(locus)에 존재하는 인간 백혈구 항원(HLA; Human leukocyte antigen) 유전자는 높은 수준의 유전적 다양성이 있다[1]. HLA 분자의 다양한 유전적 변이 및 이형접합성은 면역 시스템이 광범위한 외부 물질 및 병원균을 방어하는데 기여하지만[2], HLA 유전자의 유전형들은 다양한 염증성 질환에 대한 감수성 또는 예후와 관련된 것으로 밝혀져 왔다[3, 4].Human leukocyte antigen (HLA) genes present in the chromosome 6, major histocompatibility complex (MHC) locus, have a high level of genetic diversity [1]. SNP2HLA uses HLA reference panels containing single nucleotide polymorphism information in the MHC region, along with traditional HLA alleles and amino acid residues, as a reference for genotypic prediction [5]. However, since this HLA reference panel is manufactured from European genetic information, studying non-Europeans is very limited in their use because they can not guarantee prediction accuracy.

The two-tailed genotype agreement was 91.1%, 28.3%, 66.8% and 79.4% for HLA-A, HLA-B, HLA-C and HLA-DQB1 , respectively, Were significantly higher than those of HLA-A, HLA-B, HLA-C, and HLA-DQB1 , respectively, compared to those of 82.9%, 23.3%, 60.2% and 65.9%, respectively (Table 2). For reference, in order to avoid errors in the interpretation of results due to the difference in the number of samples for European reference and Korean reference, a reference containing only 413 information was arbitrarily selected from the European reference, and the genotypic agreement was analyzed. The results are shown in Table 2.
