Abstract
Description
도 2는 종래기술에 따른 액정표시장치의 백라이트 유닛에 있어서, 광원부와 도광판 사이에 퀀텀 도트 레일(quantum dot rail)이 개재된 백라이트 유닛을 개략적으로 도시한 결합 단면도이다.
도 3은 종래기술에 따른 액정표시장치의 백라이트 유닛에 있어서, 광원부와 도광판 및 이들 사이에 부착되는 퀀텀 도트 레일(quantum dot rail)의 부착 조립전의 분해도이다.
도 4는 본 발명에 따른 백라이트 유닛를 구비한 액정표시장치의 분해 사시도이다.
도 5는 본 발명에 따른 액정표시장치의 백라이트 유닛를 구비한 액정표시장치의 결합 단면도이다.
도 6은 본 발명에 따른 액정표시장치의 백라이트 유닛에 있어서, 광원부와 내측에 퀀텀 도트 레일(quantum dot rail)이 삽입된 도광판의 결합 구조를 개략적으로 도시한 결합 단면도이다.
도 7은 본 발명에 따른 액정표시장치의 백라이트 유닛에 있어서, 광원부와 내측에 퀀텀 도트 레일(quantum dot rail)이 삽입된 도광판의 결합되기 전의 상태를 개략적으로 도시한 분해 평면도이다.
도 8a 내지 8c는 본 발명에 따른 액정표시장치의 백라이트 유닛에 있어서, 도광판 내측에 퀀텀 도트 레일을 삽입하는 방법을 도시한 삽입 공정 사시도이다.

Claims (6)
- 액정패널에 광을 공급하기 위한 광원부;
상기 광원부의 측부에 위치하여 상기 광원으로부터 입사되는 광을 평면 광으로 변환하여 상기 액정패널 측으로 진행시키며, 상기 광원으로부터 광이 입사되는 입광면 내측에 퀀텀 도트 레일이 삽입된 도광판;
상기 도광판의 측면부를 감싸며 액정패널을 지지하는 패널 가이드;
상기 도광판 상에 배치되는 광학시트; 및
상기 도광판 하부에 배치되는 반사시트를 포함하여 구성되는 백라이트 유닛. - 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 퀀텀 도트 레일은 상기 도광판의 입광면 내측에 이 입광면과 대응되게 형성된 삽입구멍을 통해 삽입되어 고정된 것을 특징으로 하는 백라이트 유닛.
- 제2 항에 있어서, 상기 삽입구멍의 양단에 상기 퀀텀 도트 레일을 고정시킬 수 있도록 실링재가 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 백라이트 유닛.
- 액정패널;
상기 액정패널에 광을 공급하기 위한 광원부;
상기 광원부의 측부에 위치하여 상기 광원으로부터 입사되는 광을 평면 광으로 변환하여 상기 액정패널 측으로 진행시키며, 상기 광원으로부터 광이 입사되는 입광면 내측에 퀀텀 도트 레일이 삽입된 도광판;
상기 도광판의 측면부를 감싸며 액정패널을 지지하는 패널 가이드;
상기 도광판 상에 배치되는 광학시트; 및
상기 도광판 하부에 배치되는 반사시트를 포함하여 구성되는 백라이트 유닛을 구비한 액정표시장치. - 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 퀀텀 도트 레일은 상기 도광판의 입광면 내측에 이 입광면과 대응되게 형성된 삽입구멍을 통해 삽입되어 고정된 것을 특징으로 하는 백라이트 유닛.
- 제2 항에 있어서, 상기 삽입구멍의 양단에 상기 퀀텀 도트 레일을 고정시킬 수 있도록 실링재가 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 백라이트 유닛.
