Claims (15)
- 각막 재질의 절제에 맞춰진 빔 특성들을 가지는 제1 펄스 레이저 빔(140)과 안구 조직의 절개에 맞춰진 빔 특성들을 가지는 제2 펄스 레이저 빔(290)을 제공하는 컴포넌트를 포함하고, 두개의 레이저 빔을 발생시키는 분리된 레이저 공급원(110, 130)과 또한 두 레이저 빔을 해당 출구 지점으로 유인하고 빔 출구 지점의 외부에 위치한 초점 부위를 맞추기 위해서 여러 가지의 광학 컴포넌트를 포함하는 안과용 레이저 장치에 있어서,
상기 광학 컴포넌트는 제2 레이저 빔을 유인하기 위해서 광학 도파관(250)을 포함하고 적어도 두 개의 레이저 공급원(110, 130)은 공통된 하우징(340)내에 설치되며 상기 광학 도파관은 하우징 내에서 최소한 그 길이의 일부분을 포함하도록 확장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 안과용 레이저 장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제1 레이저 공급원(110)은 엑시머 레이저이고 상기 제2 레이저 공급원(130)은 섬유 레이저인 것을 특징으로 하는 안과용 레이저 장치. - 선행하는 청구항들 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 제2 레이저 공급원(130)은 하우징(340) 안에서 제1 레이저 공급원(110) 아래에 위치하고 광학 도파관(250)은 제2 레이저 공급원으로부터 제1 레이저 공급원을 측면으로 지나 하우징 내에서 위쪽으로 안내되는 것을 특징으로 하는 안과용 레이저 장치. - 선행하는 청구항들 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 하우징(340)은 수평면의 설치를 위해서 제공되는 기부(342)와 하우징의 바닥(346) 및 하우징 바닥에서 수직거리의 기부로부터 측면으로 돌출된 하우징 암(344)을 포함하고, 바람직하게는 상기 두 레이저 공급원(110, 130)은 적어도 하우징의 기부에서 주로, 바람직하게는 상하로 설치되며, 광학 컴포넌트의 적어도 일부분은 하우징 암에 설치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 안과용 레이저 장치. - 제4항에 있어서,
상기 제1 레이저 빔(140)을 유인하는 제1 빔 튜브(160)는 바람직하게는 불활성 기체에 의해 세척되고, 상기 제2 레이저 빔(290)의 경로의 적어도 일부분은 제1 빔 튜브(160) 외부의 하우징 암 내에서 확장되며, 상기 제1 레이저 빔(140)을 위한 출구 창(240)은 하우징 암에 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이저 장치. - 제5항에 있어서,
상기 제1 빔 튜브(160)를 따라 확장되는 제2 빔 튜브(270)는 하우징 암(344) 안에 설치되어 이것을 통해 제2 레이저 빔(290)의 빔 경로가 확장되고, 상기 광학 도파관(250)은 제2 레이저 공급원(130)과 제2 빔 튜브(270)사이의 하우징(340) 내에서 확장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 안과용 레이저 장치. - 제6항에 있어서,
상기 하우징 암(344)은 하우징 암의 수직 방향의 제1 레이저 빔(140)을 위한 출구 창(240)의 상류 또는 하류 측에 위치한 제2 레이저 빔을 위해서 초점 형서 광학기(330)들로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 안과용 레이저 장치. - 제5항에 있어서,
상기 광학 도파관(250a)은 하우징(340a) 외부로 유인되어 핸드피스(410a)에서 종료되며 제2 레이저 빔(290a)의 적용을 위한 최소한 스캐너와 초점 광학기를 포함하고, 상기 핸드피스는 전적으로 하나 이상의 유동성 케이블에 의해 하우징에 결합되며 그 중 하나는 광학 도파관으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 안과용 레이저 장치. - 제8항에 있어서,
상기 광학 도파관(250a)은 하우징 암의 수직 방향의 제1 레이저 빔(140a)을 위한 출구 창(240a)의 상류 또는 하류 측에 있는 하우징 암(344a)에 위치한 한 지점(440a)에서 하우징(340a)으로부터 외부로 유인되는 것을 특징으로 하는 안과용 레이저 장치. - 제8항 또는 제9항에 있어서,
상기 핸드피스(410a)는 제2 레이저 빔의 펄스 시간 압축을 위해서 펄스 압축기를 포함하고, 상기 펄스 압축기는 바람직하게 광학 그레이팅, 일례로 투과 그레이팅을 이용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 안과용 레이저 장치. - 제8항 내지 제10항에 있어서,
상기 핸드피스(410a)는 치료될 눈(360a)또는 눈에 자리한 흡인 링에 대하여 핸드피스의 기계적 연결을 허용하는 연결 구조 장치(430a)로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 안과용 레이저 장치. - 선행하는 청구항들 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 광학 도파관(250)은 대형의 모달 필드(modal field)를 가진 광학 전송 섬유를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 안과용 레이저 장치. - 선행하는 청구항들 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 광학 도파관(250)의 적어도 일부가 일시적 펄스 압축을 시행해주는 것을 특징으로 하는 안과용 레이저 장치. - 제13항에 있어서,
상기 광학 도파관(250)의 적어도 일부에 의해 시행되는 일시적 펄스 압축은 중공 코어 섬유에 의해 진행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 안과용 레이저 장치. - 선행하는 청구항들 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 제2 레이저 공급원(130)에 의해 발생되는 레이저 펄스는 그 펄스 기간이 펨토초 범위에 있고, 상기 제2 레이저 공급원과 상기 광학 도파관(250) 사이에 삽입되어 펄스 길이를 1 피코초 이상으로 증폭시키는 레이저 펄스의 시간 확장을 위해서 펄스 확장기를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 안과용 레이저 장치.
