Claims (7)
- 엔진(1)의 연소실로부터 배기관(2)을 통해 외부로 배출되는 배기가스에 요소 수용액을 분사시키는 요소 수용액 분사부(3)와, 상기 요소 수용액 분사부(3)로부터 분사되는 요소 수용액과 혼합되는 배기가스 중의 질소산화물(NOx)을 무해한 물(H2O)과 질소(N2)로 전환시키는 질소산화물 처리부(4)와, 상기 질소산화물 처리부(4)로부터 배출되는 배기가스 중의 탄화수소(HC)와 일산화탄소(CO)를 저감시키는 OC(Oxidation Catalyst)(5)를 포함하는 엔진의 후처리 장치에 있어서,
상기 엔진(1)의 연소실로부터 외부로 배출되는 배기가스 중의 질소산화물(NOx)의 농도 수준에 따라, 상기 엔진(1)의 연소실로부터 외부로 배출되는 배기가스를 제1 처리경로(15)와 제2 처리경로(16)로 일정 비율로 배분하여 공급하는 배출가스 제어유닛(20)을 포함하는 엔진의 후처리 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 처리경로(15)와 상기 제2 처리경로(16)의 비율이 100 : 0 또는 0 : 100 인 것인 엔진의 후처리 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 배출가스 제어유닛(20)은 상기 엔진(1)의 외부에 마련되고, 상기 엔진(1)의 연소실로부터 외부로 배출되는 배기가스 중의 질소산화물(NOx)의 농도를 탐지하여 전기신호를 발생시키는 녹스 디텍터(21)와, 상기 녹스 디텍터(21)로부터 발생되는 신호값과 미리 기억된 데이터 값을 비교하여 상기 제1 처리경로(15)와 상기 제2 처리경로(16)의 배기가스 배분 비율을 결정하는 컨트롤러(22)와, 상기 엔진(1)과 상기 질소산화물 처리부(4) 사이의 배기관(2)에 제공되고 상기 컨트롤러(22)의 배분 비율 신호에 따라 상기 엔진(1)의 연소실로부터 외부로 배출되는 배기가스를 상기 제1 처리경로(15)와 상기 제2 처리경로(16)로 일정 비율로 배분하여 공급하는 조정밸브(23)로 구성된 것인 엔진의 후처리 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 처리경로(15)는 상기 엔진(1), 상기 배출가스 제어유닛(20)의 조정밸브(23), 상기 질소산화물 처리부(4) 및 상기 OC(5)로 구성되고, 상기 구성요소들은 배기관(2)으로 연결된 것인 엔진의 후처리 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제2 처리 경로(16)는 상기 엔진(1), 상기 배출가스 제어유닛(20)의 조정밸브(23) 및 상기 OC(5)로 구성되고, 상기 구성요소들은 배기관(2)으로 연결된 것인 엔진의 후처리 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,
상기 컨트롤러(22)는 상기 요소 수용액 분사부(3)에 제공되는 액추에이터와 전기적으로 연결되며, 상기 컨트롤러(22)는 상기 조정밸브(23)의 유로를 상기 OC(5)로 개방시킬 시 상기 액추에이터를 작동시켜 상기 요소 수용액 분사부(3)의 작동을 정지시키고, 상기 조정밸브(23)의 유로를 상기 질소산화물 처리부(4)로 개방시킬 시 상기 액추에이터를 작동시켜 상기 요소 수용액 분사부(3)의 작동을 재개시키는 것인 엔진의 후처리 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,
상기 컨트롤러(22)는 상기 질소산화물 처리부(4)와 상기 OC(5)의 운용량을 미리 설정된 제어프로그램에 따라 일정 시간 마다 기억시키며, 상기 엔진(1)의 연소실로부터 외부로 배출되는 배기가스 중의 질소산화물(NOx)의 농도가 기 설정된 질소산화물의 일정영역의 수준에 머무를 때 미리 기억된 상기 질소산화물 처리부(4)와 상기 OC(5)의 운용량 데이터 값을 보간(interpolation)하여 상기 조정밸브(23)를 제어하는 것인 엔진의 후처리 장치.
