Description
과수원용의 고압고성능 농약분무장치인 스피드스프레이어(SS기)는 이제 과수농사에서는 없어서는 안되는 중요한 농기계이다. 스피드스프레이어는 도2와 같이 작업자가 앞좌석에서 운전을 하고 기체의 후미에서 고압분무기로 분사되는 농약약액을 고속의 팬으로 송풍하여 작업반경 5~6m 내의 과수에 살포하는 농약분무작업기이다. 스피드스프레이어는 살포가 후미에서 이루어지므로 작업자에게 안전하고, 작업능률이 좋아 대규모 과수원에 적합하고 분사방향의 필요에 따라 분사노즐 개폐할 수 있는 기능을 갖고 있다.Speed sprayer (SS), a high-pressure, high-performance pesticide sprayer for orchards, is now an essential agricultural machine in orchard farming. 스피드스프레이어에는 도2와 같이 고속의 송풍팬을 사용하여 약액을 작업반경 5m 정도까지 도달시키게 하고 있고, 지상부 반원(180도) 방향으로 균일하게 분무되므로 기체의 45도 방향에 있는 높이 4m 정도의 과수 상단부에 상대적으로 가장 적은 약액이 분무되거나 도달하지 않게되기 때문에 송풍팬의 회전수를 2500rpm 이상 고속으로 작업하게 된다. 따라서 개발한 유도장치를 장착하여 2000rpm으로 작업하여도 방제효과는 충분하면서도 사용연료를 30% 이상 절감하고, 팬의 근처에 있는 과일이나 연약 잎은 떨어지거나 손상을 입는 것을 방지할 수 있게 된다. 또한 전체 사용농약의 25%에 해당하는 90도 상향으로 분무되는 농약의 낭비를 방지할 수 있다.
