Description
Claims (24)
- 적어도 탄소원 및 촉매 및/또는 촉매 전구체 화합물을 함유하는 원료를 가열대역에 공급함으로써 기상성장 탄소섬유를 제조하는 방법으로서,상기 원료는 케톤류 및 에테르류로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 산소 함유 탄소원 화합물을 더 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 촉매 및/또는 촉매 전구체 화합물은 상온 및 상압에서 고체 또는 액체상태이고;상기 산소 함유 탄소원 화합물은 상온 및 상압에서 액체상태이고;상기 촉매 및/또는 촉매 전구체 화합물을 상기 산소 함유 탄소원 화합물에 용해 또는 현탁하여 상기 가열대역 내에 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 촉매 및/또는 촉매 전구체 화합물을 용해 또는 현탁시킨 상기 산소 함유 탄소원 화합물을 미리 기화시켜 상기 가열대역에 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 산소 함유 탄소원 화합물의 상압에서의 비점이 80℃ 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 산소 함유 탄소원 화합물의 상압에서의 비점이 115℃ 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 산소 함유 탄소원 화합물의 상압에서의 비점이 150℃ 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 산소 함유 탄소원 화합물에 대한 상기 촉매 및/또는 촉매 전구체 화합물의 25℃에서의 용해도가 상기 산소 함유 탄소원 화합물 100g에 대하여 1g 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 케톤류가 아세톤, 2-부타논, 2-펜타논, 3-펜타논, 3-메틸-2-부타논, 아 세틸아세톤, 3-히드록시-3-메틸-2-부타논, 3,3-디메틸-2-부타논, 2-메틸-3-펜타논, 3-메틸-2-펜타논, 4-메틸-2-펜타논, 2-헥사논, 3-헥사논, 시클로펜타논, 히드록시아세톤, 2-헵타논, 3-헵타논, 4-헵타논, 2,4-디메틸-3-펜타논, 4-메톡시-4-메틸-2-펜타논, 4-히드록시-4-메틸-2-펜타논, 시클로헥사논, 2,6-디메틸-4-헵타논, 3-메틸시클로헥사논 및 이소포론인 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법.

- 제 1 항 내지 제 9 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 탄소원이 일산화탄소, 이산화탄소, 메탄, 에탄, 프로판, 부탄, 펜탄, 헥산, 헵탄, 시클로헥산, 에틸렌, 프로필렌, 부텐, 부타디엔, 아세틸렌, 벤젠, 톨루엔 및 크실렌으로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 1종 이상의 화합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 탄소원이 일산화탄소, 이산화탄소, 메탄, 에탄, 프로판, 부탄, 펜탄, 헥산, 헵탄, 시클로헥산, 에틸렌, 프로필렌, 부텐, 부타디엔 및 아세틸렌으로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 1종 이상의 화합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 11 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 탄소원이 적어도 메탄을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 12 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 원료 중의 메탄의 농도가 15몰% 이상 100몰% 미만이고, 상기 가열대역의 고온부분의 온도가 1,100℃~1,500℃인 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 13 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 가열대역의 원료도입부의 온도가 700℃ 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 14 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 공급되는 원료가 상기 가열대역의 고온부분에 이르기 전에 600℃~ 1,000℃ 온도의 상기 가열대역의 저온부분에서 0.05초 이상동안 체류하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 15 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 가열대역에 있어서 1,100℃ 이상의 온도에서의 체류시간이 0.001초 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 16 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,메탄 외의 상기 탄소원에 함유되는 탄소원자의 총량이 메탄에 함유되는 탄소원자 양의 60% 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법.
- 제 17 항에 있어서,메탄 외의 상기 탄소원에 함유되는 탄소원자의 총량이 메탄에 함유되는 탄소원자 양의 10% 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 18 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 원료 중의 촉매원소의 원자수 및 탄소원자수의 비율이 이하의 관계를 만족시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법.(촉매원소의 원자수)/(탄소원자수)=0.000005~0.0015
- 제 1 항 내지 제 19 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,반응 후 가스의 전부 또는 일부를 순환시키고 재사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,평균 섬유 직경이 10nm 이상인 탄소섬유를 제조하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기 상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 21 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 기상성장 탄소섬유의 제조방법에 의해 제조된 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유.
- 제 22 항에 있어서,평균 섬유 길이가 10㎛ 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유.
- 제 23 항에 있어서,상기 평균 섬유 길이가 13㎛ 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 기상성장 탄소섬유.
