Claims (16)
- 내연기관의 배기가스 공급류 내로 환원제를 분사하는 장치에 있어서,상기 배기가스 공급류 내로 환원제를 분사시키는 유체 계측 장치;제어가능한 압력 조절 장치; 및상기 유체 계측 장치와 상기 제어가능한 압력 조절 장치에 작동식으로 연결되고 제어가능한 유량 이상으로 환원제를 상기 배기가스 공급류 내로 유동시키는 제어 모듈;을 포함하는 내연기관의 배기가스 공급류 내로 환원제를 분사하는 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 유체 계측 장치는 상기 내연기관의 희박 작동시에 선택적인 촉매 환원 장치의 상기 배기가스 공급류의 상류 내로 탄화수소 연료를 분사시키는 연료 계측 장치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관의 배기가스 공급류 내로 환원제를 분사하는 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 제어 모듈은, 상기 연료 계측 장치와 상기 압력 조절 장치에 작동식으 로 연결되고, 엔진으로부터 나온 NOx 농도에 근거하여 상기 연료 계측 장치와 상기 압력 조절 장치를 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관의 배기가스 공급류 내로 환원제를 분사하는 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 제어 모듈은, 상기 연료 계측 장치와 상기 압력 조절 장치에 작동식으로 연결되고, HC1/NOx의 소정의 비율에 근거하여 상기 연료 계측 장치와 상기 압력 조절 장치를 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관의 배기가스 공급류 내로 환원제를 분사하는 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 제어 모듈은, 상기 배기가스 공급류의 변수를 모니터링하도록 작동하는 복수의 감지 장치에 신호에 의해 연결되고, 배기가스 온도, 유량 및 배출물의 변수를 결정하도록 작동하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관의 배기가스 공급류 내로 환원제를 분사하는 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,제어가능한 유량 이상으로 환원제를 상기 배기가스 공급류 내로 유동시키는 상기 제어 모듈은, HC1/NOx의 소정의 비율 및 상기 배기가스 공급류 변수에 근거하여 상기 연료 계측 장치와 상기 압력 조절 장치를 제어하도록 피드포워드 제어 방식을 수행시키는 제어 모듈을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관의 배기가스 공급류 내로 환원제를 분사하는 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서,HC1/NOx의 소정의 비율 및 상기 배기가스 공급류 변수에 근거하여 상기 연료 계측 장치와 상기 압력 조절 장치를 제어하도록 피드백 제어 방식을 수행시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관의 배기가스 공급류 내로 환원제를 분사하는 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 제어가능한 유량은 상기 연료 계측 장치로부터 약 0.001g/초 내지 약 1.0g/초의 범위 이상의 연료 유량을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관의 배기가스 공급류 내로 환원제를 분사하는 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 내연기관은 압축 점화 엔진을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관의 배기가스 공급류 내로 환원제를 분사하는 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 내연기관은 예혼합 압축 점화 엔진(homogeneous-charge compression-ignition engine)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관의 배기가스 공급류 내로 환원제를 분사하는 장치.
- 희박 공연비 영역 내에서 작동하는 내연기관용의 배기 후처리 시스템에 있어서,촉매 반응 장치;복수의 배기가스 감지 장치;상기 촉매 반응 장치의 상기 배기가스 공급류의 상류 내로 환원제를 분배하도록 작동하고, 상기 배기가스 공급류 내로 환원제를 분사시키는 유체 계측 장치와, 제어가능한 압력 조절 장치를 포함하는, 환원제 분사 시스템; 및상기 배기가스 공급류의 변수를 결정하고, 소정의 환원제 공급량을 결정하 며, 내연기관의 희박 작동시에 상기 소정의 환원제 공급량으로 상기 환원제 분사 시스템을 선택적으로 제어하는 제어 시스템;을 포함하는 희박 공연비 영역 내에서 작동하는 내연기관용의 배기 후처리 시스템.
- 제11항에 있어서,탄화수소 환원제를 분배하도록 작동하는 환원제 분사 시스템을 더 포함하고,상기 촉매 반응 장치는 탄화수소의 선택적 촉매 환원 장치를 포함하며,상기 소정의 환원제 공급량은 상기 탄화수소의 선택적 촉매 환원 장치를 통해 NOx 농도를 환원하기에 효과적인 탄화수소/NOx 비율을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 희박 공연비 영역 내에서 작동하는 내연기관용의 배기 후처리 시스템.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 촉매 반응 장치는 실버 알루미나 촉매 반응 장치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 희박 공연비 영역 내에서 작동하는 내연기관용의 배기 후처리 시스템.
- 제11항에 있어서,탄화수소 환원제를 분배하도록 작동하는 환원제 분사 시스템을 더 포함하고,상기 촉매 반응 장치는 디젤 입자 필터 장치를 포함하며,상기 소정의 환원제 공급량은 상기 디젤 입자 필터 장치를 재생하는데 효과적인 것을 특징으로 하는 희박 공연비 영역 내에서 작동하는 내연기관용의 배기 후처리 시스템.
- 제11항에 있어서,탄화수소 환원제를 분배하도록 작동하는 환원제 분사 시스템을 더 포함하고,상기 촉매 반응 장치는 디젤 산화 촉매 장치를 포함하며,상기 소정의 환원제 공급량은 상기 디젤 산화 촉매 장치를 디슐페이트(desulfate)하는데 효과적인 것을 특징으로 하는 희박 공연비 영역 내에서 작동하는 내연기관용의 배기 후처리 시스템.
- 내연기관의 배기가스 공급류 내로 환원제를 분사하는 방법에 있어서,상기 배기가스 공급류 내로 환원제를 분사시키는 연료 계측 장치로의 유체 압력을 제어하도록 작동하는 제어가능한 압력 조절 장치를 제공하는 단계; 및상기 연료 계측 장치로의 상기 압력과, 상기 연료 계측 장치를 제어하여 상기 배기가스 공급류 내로 환원제의 유동을 선택적으로 제어하는 단계;를 포함하는 내연기관의 배기가스 공급류 내로 환원제를 분사하는 방법.
