Claims (4)
- (a) 하기 [반응식 1]에서 일반식(4)로 표시되는 알킬 (R)-4-클로로-3-히드록시부티레이트에서 산촉매나 양이온 교환 수지 촉매를 사용하여 일반식(3)으로 표시되는 (R)-3-히드록시-감마-부티로락톤을 제조하는 단계;(b) 상기 (R)-3-히드록시-감마-부티로락톤으로부터 할로겐산과 카르복시산을 용한 개환반응을 통해 일반식(5)로 표시되는 (R)-3-아실옥시-4-할로부틸산을 제조하는 단계;(c) 상기 (R)-3-아실옥시-4-할로부틸산을 염기 존재하에서 에폭시반응을 수행하여 일반식(6)으로 표시되는 (R)-3,4-에폭시부틸산염 또는 (R)-3,4-에폭시부틸산을 제조하는 단계; 및(d) 상기 (R)-3,4-에폭시부틸산염 또는 (R)-3,4-에폭시부틸산에 트리메틸아민을 첨가하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 엘-카르니틴의 제조방법[반응식 1](치환체 R2는 에폭시반응을 용이하게 하는 할로겐기(F, Cl, Br, I)를 나타내고 R3는 아실기(COCnH2n+1, n=1~4)를 나타내며, 치환체 R4 는 탄소수 1내지 8의 알킬기를 나타낸다.)
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 개환반응 시 사용되는 할로겐산은 불산, 염산, 브롬산 및 요오드산으로부터 선택된 것이고, 카르복시산은 아세트산을 포함하는 탄소 원자수 1~4의 알킬카르복시산인 것을 특징으로 하는 엘-카르니틴의 제조방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 에폭시반응은 알칼리금속 수산화물, 알칼리토금속 수산화물, 알칼리금속 알콕사이드, 알킬아민 및 4급아민 수산화물 중에서 선택된 염기 존재하에서 물 단독용매 또는 물과 유기용매의 혼합용매를 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 엘-카르니틴의 제조방법.
- 제 3항에 있어서,상기 알칼리금속 수산화물은 수산화나트륨, 수산화칼륨 및 수산화리튬 중에서 선택된 것이고,상기 알칼리토금속 수산화물은 수산화마그네슘, 수산화칼륨 및 수산화바륨 중에서 선택된 것이고,상기 알칼리금속 알콕사이드는 나트륨 메톡사이드, 나트륨 에톡사이드 및 포타시움 t-부톡사이드 중에서 선택된 것이고,상기 알킬아민은 NHR5R6(이때, R5 및 R6는 각각 탄소원자수 2~7의 알킬기) 및 NH2R7(R7는 탄소원자수 3~9의 알킬기) 중에서 선택된 것이고,상기 4급아민 수산화물은 테트라부틸암모니움 히드록사이드 및 벤질트리메틸암모니움 히드록사이드중에서 선택된 것을 특징으로 하는 엘-카르니틴의 제조방법.
