Abstract

Mascara cosmetic composition

The present invention relates to a mascara cosmetic composition containing a film former and an alkyldimethicone. The cosmetic composition of the present invention is uniformly coated with the composition for the eyelashes and eyebrow coating, excellent in volume function, curling and lasting power that the eyelashes are rich.

The composition for eyelash and eyebrow coating, known as mascara, has a volume function of thickening and thickening the eyelashes by applying them to the eyelashes. If the content of methicone, dimethicone and cyclo methicone is high, compatibility with wax and fats and oils is unstable and stability of the composition is unstable, and when added in small amounts, the composition is stable, but the characteristics with other compositions disappear.

Alkyl dimethicone is an alkyl group (R ₁ ) containing up to C18 ~ C60 and has the structure of the formula (2) and wax form, the melting point is 35 ~ 70 ℃. Alkyl groups comprise 45-80% of the silicone polymer. Unlike general silicone oils such as methicone, dimethicone and cyclomethicone, it has excellent compatibility with ester oil, hydrocarbon oil and wax, and makes it evenly applied because it does not have a soft feeling and lump when applying the product. The alkyl dimethicone is used in 1 to 30% by weight, preferably 5 to 15% by weight based on the total amount of the mascara composition. In the present invention, beeswax and carnauba lead were used as wax components, stearic acid was used as fatty acids, and the compounding amount was 0.1 to 30.0 wt% for wax components and 0.1 to 15 wt% for fatty acids based on the total weight of the mascara composition. More preferably, the wax component is 1 to 25.0% by weight, the fatty acid is used 0.5 to 10% by weight.

The cosmetic composition of the present invention also preferably contains 0.1 to 3% by weight of an emulsifier derived from olive oil in order to solve the problem of heavy and thick wax coating membranes and the change of the contents over time according to the use of wax.
