Claims (6)
- 비콘 프레임과 페이징 프레임을 전송하는 접속노드와 상기 비콘 프레임을 이용하여 상기 접속노드와의 타이밍 옵셋을 보상하고 상기 페이징 프레임을 이용하여 자신의 위치를 파악하는 단말로 구성되는 무선통신 시스템에서 실제 데이터 송수신이 수행되는 활성모드와 송수신 데이터가 없는 경우 전력 소비를 줄이기 위한 절전모드로 동작하는 단말에 있어서,상기 비콘 프레임을 이용하여 상기 페이징 프레임 수신 시구간 동안 발생하는 페이징 타이밍 옵셋을 계산하고;절전모드에서 상기 페이징 타이밍 옵셋 만큼 시간이 경과한 후 페이징 프레임 수신을 수행하는 절전방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 페이징 타이밍 옵셋은;미리 정해진 시간 윈도우 내에서 수신되는 비콘 프레임을 이용하여 비콘 타이밍 옵셋을 계산하고;상기 비콘 타이밍 옵셋의 평균 값을 구하고;상기 비콘 타이밍 평균 값에 상기 페이징 프레임에 대응하는 비콘 프레임의 수를 곱하여 산출되는 것을 특징으로 하는 절전방법.
- 통신 상태에서 최대출력을 위해 전력을 사용하는 활성모드와 통신 휴지 상태에서 전력소모를 최소화하는 절전모드로 동작하는 무선통신 단말에 있어서,송신기로부터 주기적으로 전송되는 적어도 하나의 비콘 신호를 수신하여 타이밍 옵셋을 산출하고;상기 타이밍 옵셋을 이용하여 페이징 신호의 수신 시점을 결정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 페이징 수신 시점 결정 방법.
- 제 3항에 있어서, 상기 타이밍 옵셋을 산출하는 단계는:미리 정해진 타임 윈도우 내에서 수신된 비콘 신호의 타이밍 옵셋의 평균을 구하고;상기 타이밍 옵셋 평균에 상기 페이징 신호의 길이에 대응하는 비콘 신호의 수를 곱하여 페이징 타이밍 옵셋을 구하는 것을 특징으로 하는 페이징 수신 시점 결정 방법.
- 제 4항에 있어서, 상기 타이밍 옵셋 평균은 상기 단말이 활성모드에서 수신되는 비콘 신호들로부터 구해지는 것을 특징으로 하는 페이징 수신 시점 결정 방법.
- 제 4항에 있어서, 상기 페이징 수신 시점은 단말이 절전모드에서 페이징 신호를 수신하기 위해 깨어나는 시점인 것을 특징으로 하는 페이징 수신 시점 결정 방법.
