Abstract
Description
Claims (4)
- 복수 광원으로부터 출사된 편광된 광을 집속하여 출사하는 집속부;상기 집속부로부터 출사되는 다중의 편광빔이 입사되면 선형의 평행광으로 변환하여 출사하는 조명렌즈계;상기 각 파장의 편광빔에 대하여 광변조를 수행하여 복수 차수의 회절계수를 갖는 회절광을 생성하는 복수의 회절형 광변조기;상기 조명렌즈계로부터 출사되는 편광빔은 슬릿을 이용하여 통과시키고 상기 회절형 광변조기로부터 출사되는 회절광을 상기 필터계로 반사하는 조명광과 회절광의 분리 미러;상기 조명광과 회절광의 분리 미러로부터 다중의 편광빔을 파장별로 분리하여 해당하는 상기 회절형 광변조기로 입사시키고 상기 복수의 회절형 광변조기로부터 출사되는 회절광을 집광하여 상기 조명광과 회절광의 분리 미러로 출사시키는 편광빔 분리부;상기 회절형 광변조기로부터 출사되는 복수의 회절차수를 갖는 각각의 회절광에서 원하는 차수의 회절광을 공간 필터를 사용하여 통과시키는 필터계; 및상기 필터계에 의해 통과된 회절광을 집광하여 스크린에 투사하는 프로젝션 시스템을 포함하여 이루어진 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 조명렌즈계는,상기 광원에서 출사된 광을 선형화시키는 실린더 렌즈; 및상기 실린더 렌즈에 의해 선형화된 광을 평행광을 만드는 콜리메이터 렌즈를 포함하여 이루어진 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 편광빔 분리부는 X-프리즘인 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 필터계는,상기 조명광과 회절광 분리 미러로부터 출사되는 회절광을 차수별로 집광하는 푸리에 렌즈; 및상기 푸리에 렌즈에 의해 집광된 회절광을 공간적으로 분리된 다수의 슬릿을 사용하여 분리하는 공간 필터를 포함하여 이루어진 디스플레이 장치.
