Claims (6)
- 열광학 특성을 가지는 균일 브래그 격자가 형성된 광섬유 코어층과; 상기 코어층을 감싸며, 상기 균일 브래그 격자가 위치한 코어층 부분을 감싸는 영역만 다양한 형태의 테이퍼 구조를 이루는 광섬유 클래딩층과; 상기 테이퍼 구조를 이루는 광섬유 클래딩층을 제외한 클래딩층 표면에 형성된 광섬유 보호 자켓과; 상기 테이퍼 구조를 이루는 광섬유 클래딩층의 표면에 코팅된 히터 전극을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 집적광학형 실시간 지연 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 광섬유 코어층은 실리카 재질을 포함한, 열광학 특성을 가지는 광학 물질로 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 집적광학형 실시간 지연 장치.
- 균일 브래그 격자가 형성된 광섬유의 클래딩층 표면을 광섬유 식각액에 견딜 수 있는 광섬유 보호 자켓으로 코팅한 후, 균일 브래그 격자가 형성된 영역만 부분적으로 제거하는 단계와; 상기 광섬유 구조물 수직으로 세워 적어도 상기 광섬유 보호 자켓으로 보호되지 않는 광섬유 클래딩층이 광섬유 식각액에 잠기도록 디핑(dipping)하는 단계와; 상기 광섬유 구조물을 소정의 속도 프로파일에 따라 상기 광섬유 식각액으로부터 꺼내는 것으로 노출된 광섬유 클래딩층이 테이퍼 구조가 되도록 하는 단계와; 상기 테이퍼 구조를 가지는 노출된 광섬유 클래딩층 표면에 히터 전극을 형성하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 특징으로 하는 집적광학형 실시간 지연 장치 제조 방법.
- 제 3항에 있어서, 상기 광섬유 구조물을 상기 광섬유 식각액으로부터 꺼내는 속도 프로파일은 고정된 속도이거나, 가변적인 속도이며, 이를 통해 상기 노출된 광섬유 클래딩층에 형성될 테이퍼 구조가 정의되는 것을 특징으로 하는 집적광학형 실시간 지연 장치 제조 방법.
- 제 3항에 있어서, 상기 노출된 광섬유 클래딩층에 광섬유 식각액을 적용하여 형성한 테이퍼 구조는 상기 형성된 테이퍼 구조에 적용하는 히터 전극에 가하는 전압과 입력 광신호의 지연 시간 사이의 특성이 선형적이 되도록 정의하는 것을 특징으로 하는 집적광학형 실시간 지연 장치 제조 방법.
- 제 3항에 있어서, 상기 테이퍼 구조를 가지는 노출된 광섬유 클래딩층 표면에 히터 전극을 형성하기 전에 상기 광섬유 구조물을 히터 전극 형성을 위한 개구부를 가진 기판 상에 배열하여 배열형 구조물을 형성하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 집적광학형 실시간 지연 장치 제조 방법.
