Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for operating a device by buttons of a mobile phone is provided to operate the device by inputting a DTMF(Dual Tone Multi Frequency) sound in the device in which an input device such as numerical buttons or character buttons does not exist. CONSTITUTION: A sound input device such as a microphone or an ear phone jack inputs a sound(S10). A DTMF decoder converts the sound inputted in the sound input device into a numerical sound(S20). A device control signal generating device converts the converted numerical signal into an operation signal of a device(S30). The device is operated by the converted operation signal.
