Claims (8)
- 공유 클럭 공급원(110)을 이용하는 다중-모드 무선 통신 디바이스(100)로서,수정체(110)로부터 AFC-제어된 클럭 공급원 신호를 유도하기 위해 상기 수정체(110)에 연결하는 수단과,상기 클럭 공급원 신호를 수신하고, 상기 무선 통신 디바이스의 RX부 및/또는 TX부(160)에 전달될 상이한 클럭 신호(fovs_RX, fovs_RX)를 상기 클럭 공급원 신호로부터 유도하기 위한 기준 PLL(120)과,복수의 누산기 타이머들(accumulator timers)(150)로서, 상기 복수의 누산기 타이머들 각각은 다중 모드들중 각각의 모드에서 시간베이스 동기화를 유지하고, 상기 복수의 누산기 타이머들 각각은 상기 AFC 수단으로부터 유도된 신호와, 클럭 공급원 신호 주파수와 상기 다중 모드들중 각각의 모드의 주파수 사이의 비율을 나타내는 신호((1+afc)*Den/Num)를 증분 신호로서 이용하도록 배열되는, 상기 복수의 누산기 타이머들을 포함하는 다중-모드 무선 통신 디바이스(100).
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 다중-모드들 중 복수의 상이한 모드들의 A/D 또는 D/A부들(140)은 상기 클럭 공급원 신호 또는 상기 기준 PLL로부터 클럭 신호들을 유도하도록 배열되는, 다중-모드 무선 통신 디바이스.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 누산기 타이머들(150)은,상기 클럭 공급원; 또는상기 기준 PLL 클럭 출력; 또는디프 슬립 모드(deep sleep mode)에서 동작할 때의 실시간 클럭 공급원으로부터 선택되는 동일한 클럭 신호에 의해 구동되는, 다중-모드 무선 통신 디바이스.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 누산기 타이머들은 상기 클럭 신호의 선택에 의존하는 상이한 신호들에 의해 증분되도록 배열되는, 다중-모드 무선 통신 디바이스.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 누산기 타이머들(150)은 상이한 기준 주파수 조정들을 가지는 두개 이상의 기지국들 사이의 무선 통신 디바이스의 주파수 에러에 의존하여 상이한 AFC 값들로 증분되도록 배열되는, 다중-모드 무선 통신 디바이스.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 5 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,범용 모바일 원격통신 시스템(UMTS);모바일 통신을 위한 일반 시스템(GSM)강화된 디지털 GSM 장비(EDGE); 및시분할 다중 액세스(TDMA)로부터 선택된 복수의 모드들로 동작하도록 배열되는, 다중-모드 무선 통신 디바이스.
- 공유 클럭 공급원(110)을 이용하는 다중-모드 무선 통신 디바이스(100)에서 이용하기 위한 집적 회로 장치로서,수정체(110)로부터 AFC-제어된 클럭 공급원 신호를 유도하기 위해 상기 수정체(110)에 연결하는 수단과,상기 클럭 공급원 신호를 수신하고, 상기 무선 통신 디바이스의 RX부 및/또는 TX부(160)에 전달될 상이한 클럭 신호(fovs_RX, fovs_RX)를 상기 클럭 공급원 신호로부터 유도하기 위한 기준 PLL(120)과,복수의 누산기 타이머들(150)로서, 상기 복수의 누산기 타이머들 각각은 다중 모드들중 각각의 모드에서 시간베이스 동기화를 유지하고, 상기 복수의 누산기 타이머들 각각은 상기 AFC 수단으로부터 유도된 신호와, 클럭 공급원 신호 주파수와 상기 다중 모드들중 각각의 모드의 주파수 사이의 비율을 나타내는 신호 ((1+afc)*Den/Num)를 증분 신호로서 이용하도록 배열되는, 상기 복수의 누산기 타이머들을 포함하는 다중-모드 무선 통신 디바이스에서 이용하기 위한 집적 회로 장치.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,단일 클럭 공급원으로부터 유도된 클럭들을 이용하도록 배열된 디지털 신호프로세싱 회로를 더 포함하고, 그에 의해 다중모드 프로세싱은 동일한 프로세싱 블록들을 공유하는, 다중-모드 무선 통신 디바이스에서 이용하기 위한 집적 회로 장치.
