Claims (3)
- 플라즈마 아크 용접 토치의 노즐-음극과 전극사이의 파일롯 아크를 스트라이킹하는 단계와,상기 파일롯 아크의 아크 영역에 플라즈마 생성 매개체를 인접설치하고, 용접 토치의 노즐-양극내의 상기 플라즈마 생성 매개체로 파일롯 아크를 수축하고, 이렇게 해서 플라즈마 제트를 만드는 단계와,플라즈마 아크 용접 토치의 전극과 용접되어질 금속사이에 주 아크를 확립하는 단계와,플라즈마 제트로 주 아크를 안정화하고 상기 안정화된 주 아크로 금속을 융해하는 단계를 포함하는 금속의 플라즈마 아크 용접법에 있어서,상기 플라즈마 생성 매개체로 수증기를 사용하고 주 아크의 정극성으로 금속의 용접을 달성하는 것을 특징으로 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 플라즈마 생성 매개체로서 파일롯 아크에 의해 방출된 열에너지에 의해서 플라즈마 아크 용접 토치내에서 직접 발생된 수증기를 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 플라즈마 제트를 파일롯 아크 전류의 값을 변경함으로서 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
