Abstract

PURPOSE: A meta search engine be set on computer of end user is provided to be capable of researching or subscription search by storing result of search. CONSTITUTION: The meta search method comprises the steps of: transmitting search inquiry in a meta search engine to each search engines generally or partially, and transmitting a result of searching to the meta search engine. The meta search engine reconstructs the result of searching from the search engines, and storing the reconstructed result to end user computer.

본원발명을 도 2와 함게 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다. 엔드유저는 자신의 컴퓨터에 설치되어 있는 엔드유저용 메타검색엔진에 검색요청을 한다. 그러면 엔드유저용 검색엔진에 내장되어 있는 엔드유저용 검색엔진 에이전트(Agent)가 상기 검색질의를 받아 각각의 검색엔진들에 검색질의를 전달한다. 각각의 검색엔진들은 미리 세팅되이 있고, 또한 상기 검색질의도 각각의 검색엔진들의 문법에 맞게 변경되어 전달된다. 각각의 검색엔진들은 상기 검색질의에 해당하는 내용을 데이터베이스에거 검색하여 검색결과를 출력하고 이 출력된 검색결과는 엔드유저용 메타검색에이전트로 전송된다.Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIG. 2.
