Description
Claims (21)
- 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도를 결정하기 위한 장치에 있어서,(a) 근-적외선 스펙트럼에서 복수의 파장의 독특한 비오버래핑 스펙트럼 영역을 포함하는 입사 방사선으로 상기 표본을 조사하기 위한 수단,(b) 상기 표본으로부터 나오는 반사된 방사선을 수집하고, 상기 반사된 방사선을 제1 광로 -상기 제1 광로는 파장의 제1 스펙트럼 영역으로부터의 방사선을 포함함- 및 제2 광로로 진행시키기 위한 수단,(c) 상기 제1 광로에 배치되는 제1 필터 수단 -상기 제1 필터 수단은 상기 피분석물의 농도와 실질적으로 어떠한 상관도 없는 방사선을 선택적으로 통과시킬 수 있음-,(d) 상기 제1 필터 수단으로부터 나오는 선택적으로 통과된 방사선을 수신하여, 상기 방사선의 세기를 나타내는 신호로 변환시키기 위한 제1 검출 수단,(e) 상기 제2 광로에 배치되는 조정가능한 필터 수단 -상기 조정가능한 필터 수단은 상기 제2 광로에서 방사선의 세기를 감쇠시킴-,(f) 상기 조정가능한 필터 수단으로부터 나오는 감쇠된 방사선을 수신하고, 그로부터 하나 이상의 독립 파장(one or more independent wavelength) -상기 하나 이상의 독립 파장은 상기 피분석물의 농도와 명확하게 상관됨- 을 선택적으로 통과시킬 수 있는 주요 피분석물 필터 수단,(g) 상기 주요 피분석물 필터 수단으로부터 나오는 상기 하나 이상의 독립 파장을 수신하고, 각각의 독립 파장의 세기를 감쇠시킬 수 있는 제2 필터 수단, 및(h) 상기 제2 필터 수단으로부터 나오는 감쇠된 독립 파장을 수신하고, 상기 검출된 파장을 상기 파장의 세기를 나타내는 신호로 변환시키기 위한 제2 검출 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제1 필터 수단은 협대역-통과 필터를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 조정가능한 필터 수단은 필터 시스템에서 상관 필터와 협력하여 사용되는 중성 밀도 필터(neutral density filter)를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 제1 검출 수단으로부터 얻어진 신호는 상기 조정가능한 필터 수단에 의해 제공되는 감쇠를 조절하는데 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제2 필터 수단은 필터 시스템에서 상관 필터와 협력하여 사용되는 중성 밀도 필터를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 제2 필터 수단에 의해 제공되는 감쇠는 가중 인자(weighting factors)를 사용하여 수립되는 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
- 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도를 결정하기 위한 장치에 있어서,(a) 근-적외선 스펙트럼에서 복수의 파장의 독특한 비오버래핑 스펙트럼 영역을 포함하는 방사선을 방출할 수 있는 방사선원,(b) 상기 (a)의 방사선원에 의해 방출되는 방사선을 제1 및 제2 빔 경로로 분할하기 위한 수단,(c) 상기 제1 빔 경로의 방사선으로 상기 표본을 조사하여, 반사된 방사선을 제공하기 위한 수단,(d) 상기 표본으로부터 나오는 반사된 방사선을 수집하고, 상기 반사된 방사선을 반사 광로로 진행시키기 위한 수단,(e) 상기 반사 광로에 배치되는 제1 광 전송 셀 -상기 제1 광 전송 셀은 상기 반사된 방사선을 수용하고, 상기 반사된 방사선으로부터 상기 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도와 높은 상관을 갖는 하나 이상의 파장을 강조하도록 부합되는 흡수 특성을 갖는 제1 양의 상관 필터 수단(first positive correlation filter means)을 구비함-,(f) 상기 제1 광 전송 셀로부터 상기 하나 이상의 강조된 파장을 수신하여, 상기 강조된 파장의 세기를 나타내는 신호로 변환시키기 위한 수단,(g) 상기 제2 빔 경로에 배치되는 제2 광 전송 셀 -상기 제2 광 전송 셀은 근-적외선 파장의 선택된 범위 전체에 걸쳐 동등하게 상기 제2 빔 경로로부터의 방사선의 세기를 감쇠시키는데 충분한 흡수 특성을 갖는 중성 밀도 필터 수단(neutral density filter means)을 구비함-,(h) 상기 제2 광 전송 셀로부터 감쇠된 방사선을 수신하여, 그 세기를 가리키는 신호로 변환시키기 위한 수단, 및(i) 상기 (f) 및 (g) 수단에 의해 발생되는 신호를 사용하여 상기 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도를 계산하기 위한 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 제2 광 전송 셀은 상기 제1 양의 상관 필터 수단의 것과 동일한 흡수 특성을 갖는 제2 양의 상관 필터 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도를 계산하기 위한 수단은 상기 (f) 및 (h) 수단에 의해 발생되는 신호를 상기 방사선원으로부터 나오는 방사선의 세기와 상기 표본으로부터 나오는 대응하는 방사선의 비를 가리키는 디지털 신호로 변환시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도를 계산하기 위한 수단은 화학미터법 알고리즘(chemometrics algorithm)을 상기 (f) 및 (h) 수단에 적용하기 위한 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 제1 양의 상관 필터 수단은, 상기 필터 수단이 상기 피분석물 농도와 높은 상관을 갖는 파장 집단을 강조하도록 선택된 흡수 특성을 각각이 갖고 있는 복수의 층을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
- 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도를 결정하기 위한 장치에 있어서,(a) 근-적외선 스펙트럼에서 복수의 파장의 독특한 비오버래핑 스펙트럼 영역을 포함하는 방사선을 방출할 수 있는 방사선원,(b) 상기 방사선원에 의해 방출되는 방사선을 제1 및 제2 빔 경로로 분할하기 위한 수단,(c) 상기 제1 빔 경로의 방사선으로 상기 표본을 조사하여, 반사된 방사선을 제공하기 위한 수단,(d) 상기 표본으로부터 나오는 반사된 방사선을 수집하고, 상기 반사된 방사선을 반사 광로로 진행시키기 위한 수단,(e) 상기 반사된 광로에 배치되는 제1 광 전송 셀 -상기 제1 광 전송 셀은 상기 반사된 방사선을 수용하고, 상기 반사된 방사선으로부터 상기 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도와 높은 상관을 갖는 하나 이상의 파장을 강조하도록 부합되는 흡수 특성을 갖는 제1 양의 상관 필터 수단(first positive correlation filter means)을 구비함-,(f) 상기 제1 광 전송 셀로부터 상기 하나 이상의 강조된 파장을 수신하여, 상기 강조된 파장의 세기를 나타내는 신호로 변환시키기 위한 수단,(g) 상기 제2 빔 경로에 배치되는 제2 광 전송 셀 -상기 제2 광 전송 셀은 상기 제1 양의 상관 필터 수단의 것과 동일한 흡수 특성을 갖는 제2 양의 상관 필터 수단을 구비함-,(h) 상기 제2 광 전송 셀로부터 감쇠된 방사선을 수신하여, 그 세기를 가리키는 신호로 변환시키기 위한 수단, 및(i) 상기 (f) 및 (h) 수단에 의해 발생되는 신호를 사용하여 상기 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도를 계산하기 위한 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 제1 양의 상관 필터 수단은, 상기 필터 수단이 상기 피분석물 농도와 높은 상관을 갖는 파장 집단을 강조하도록 선택된 흡수 특성을 각각이 갖고 있는 복수의 층을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 제1 및 제2 양의 상관 필터 수단으로부터의 하나 이상의 층의 흡수 특성은 가중 인자(weighting factors)를 사용하여 수립되는 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
- 제6항 또는 제14항에 있어서,상기 가중 인자는 화학미터법 기술을 사용하여 유도되는 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
- 제15항에 있어서,상기 가중 인자는 상기 피분석물의 흡수 스펙트럼의 회전되는 주성분 분석을 사용하여 유도되는 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 입사 방사선의 파장은 약 1100 내지 3500㎚의 범위에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
- 제7항 또는 제12항에 있어서,상기 방사선원에 의해 방출된 방사선의 파장은 약 1100 내지 3500㎚의 범위에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
- 제1항, 제7항, 또는 제12항에 있어서,상기 표본은 신체 조직을 구비하고, 상기 피분석물은 유기성 혈액 피분석물을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
- 제19항에 있어서,상기 혈액 피분석물은 포도당, 요소(BUN), 지방질, 빌리루빈 및 에틸 알콜로 구성되는 그룹으로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
- 제20항에 있어서,상기 혈액 피분석물은 포도당인 것을 특징으로 하는 표본 내의 피분석물의 농도 결정 장치.
