Abstract

특히 전기장치를 위한, 2개의 케이싱 부분 사이의 가요성 밀봉장치 및 이 밀봉장치를 위한 제작 방법을 제안한다. 밀봉재(3)는 양쪽의 케이싱 부분(1)의 사이의 한쪽 이상의 소정의 밀봉면(2)상에 도포되고, 양쪽의 케이싱 부분(1)에 접합할 때에 양쪽의 케이싱 부분 사이에 단단히 조여진다. 밀봉재(3)는, 특히, 광물성의 충전재를 갖는 부틸고무로 이루어지고, 밀봉면(2)상에 도포되기 전제 가열된다. 이 가요성 밀봉장치를 제작하는 방법에 있어서는, 밀봉재(3)를 피스톤펌프 및 후속의 기어 펌프에 의해서, 가열되어 있는 도포 노즐로 운반하고, 밀봉재(3)의 냉각후에 양쪽의 케이싱 부분(1)을 접합시켜, 밀봉재(3)를 소성 변형시킨다.

Description

가요성 밀봉장치 및 그 제작 방법
독일 연방 공화국 특허출원 공개 제 3937190호 명세서에는, 2 개의 케이싱 부분을 갖는 전기장치가 개선된다. 이 공지의 전기장치는 자동차의 브레이크 계통의 자동적인 블럭방지장치(ABS/ABSR)를 위한 제어전자회로를 가지고 있고, 엔진룸의 범위에 설치되어 있다. 케이싱은 전기장치의 설치후 장기간에 걸쳐서 밀봉되어 있지 않으면 않되고, 그 내부의 민감한 전기회로 소자를 특히 물이나 공격성의 외래물질에 대하여 보호하지 않으면 안된다. 자동차에 있어서는, 예를들면 물보라·염분함유안개·먼지 혹은 그 밖의 제어전자회로의 설치장소에 존재하는 화학적 작용물질이 유해한 작용을 초래하는 일이 있다. 공지의 밀봉장치는 통례는 탄성중합체로 이루어지는 성형밀봉장치 또는 천공밀봉장치에서, 케이싱 부분에 설치된다.
본 발명은, 청구항 1의 상위개념부에 기재된 형식의 가요(可撓性:flexibility)의 밀봉(seal) 장치 및 그 제작 방법에 관한 것이다.

상술된 형식의 본 발명에 의한 가요성 밀봉장치는, 청구항 1의 특징부에 기재된 특징에 의해서, 특히 다음과 같은 이점을 가져온다. 즉 양쪽의 케이싱 부분을 접합할 때에 밀봉재가 접합면의 미소한 거친면의 오목한 부분내로 침입할 수 있고, 이것에 의해서 양쪽의 케이싱 부분이 탄성적으로 또한 극히 큰 밀봉성을 가지며 결합된다. 공지의 탄성중합체로 이루어지는 밀봉장치와는 달리, 본 발명에 의한 밀봉장치에 있어서는 성형밀봉을 위한 공구비용이나, 판으로부터 밀봉장치를 천공하는 경우의 천공부스러기는 생기지 않는다.
예를 들면 규소나 아크릴산염과 같은 소성상태로 도포 가능한 다른 재료와는 달리, 본 발명에 의한 밀봉재에서는, 경화를 시킬 필요는 없다. 왜냐하면 부틸고무는 밀봉장치의 도포후, 즉시 냉각하기 때문이다. 또한, 아세트산·메탄올·아민 혹은 단량체의 아크릴산염과 같은 공지의 제작방법으로는 생기는 화학적 분리 생성물은 본 발명에 의한 밀봉재에서는 생기지 않기 때문에, 결국에는 환경을 손상하지 않는 제작공정을 실현할 수 있다. 폐기물처리도 환경을 손상하지 않고서 실시할 수 있다. 이것은, 부틸고무는 탄화수소로서, 케이싱 부분의 리사이클 처리를 행할 때에, 금속 용융물내에서 탄산가스와 물이 연소되기 때문이다.
청구항 2에 의하면, 광물성의 충전제를 첨가함으로써, 밀봉재의 소성성질 및 가공성이 유리한 형식으로 개선된다.
청구항 3 이하에는 본 발명에 의한 가요성의 밀봉장치의 유리한 제작방법이 기재되어 있고, 이 제작방법은 부틸고무로 이루어지는 가열된 밀봉재의 밀봉면에의 간단한 도포를 보증하고, 약간의 시간(몇 초)이 경과하여 밀봉재가 냉각한 후에, 양쪽의 케이싱 부분의 소성의 또한 큰 밀봉성을 가지는 결합을 가능하게 한다.
도 1에는, 전기장치를 위한 케이싱의 구성부분으로서의 한쪽의 케이싱 부분(1)이 나타나고 있다. 이 케이싱 부분(1)은, 전기장치에 의하여 제어되는 기계장치의 구성부분이라도 좋다. 예를 들면 이 케이싱은, 자동차의 엔진블럭에 설치되어 있는 엔진제어 전자회로를 내장할 수 있다. 도시되지 않은 제 2 의 케이싱 부분과 결합가능한 밀봉면(2)에는, 부틸고무로 이루어지는 밀봉재(3)가 있다.
광물성의 충전재를 가지는 부틸고무로 이루어지는 밀봉재(3)는 상기의 경우 피스톤의 펌프 및 후속의 기어 펌프의 가열가능한 도포 노즐에 의해서 밀봉면(2)상에 도포된다. 피스톤 펌프·기어 펌프 및 도포 노즐은, 도시되지 않은 종래의 궤적 제어되는 제작장치의 구성부분이다. 자유롭게 프로그래밍 가능한 궤적제어에 의해서, 단지 이차원 뿐 만이 아니고, 또한 삼차원의 복잡한, 예를 들면 모퉁이가 많은 밀봉면에도 밀봉재를 공급할 수 있다. 밀봉재는 상기의 경우 도포후 약간의 시간(몇초)이 경과하면 냉각되고, 그 직후에 양쪽의 케이싱 부분을 접합하는 것이 가능하고, 그 때 밀봉재(3)는 냉각후에도 아직 소성의 성질을 가지고 있다. 도 2에 있어서는, 밀봉면(2)상에 도포한 직후의 밀봉재(3)의 단면이 나타나고 있다.

Claims (6)

  1. 특히 전기장치를 위한, 2개의 케이싱 부분 사이의 가요성 밀봉장치에 있어서, 양쪽의 케이싱 부분(1)의 사이의 한쪽 이상의 소정의 밀봉면(2)상에 배치된 밀봉재(3)를 가지며, 이 밀봉재(3)는 양쪽의 케이싱 부분(1)을 접합할 때에 양쪽의 케이싱 부분 사이에서 단단히 조여지는 형식의 것에 있어서, 밀봉재(3)가, 밀봉면(2)상에 도포될 때에 가열가능한 부틸고무로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 가요성 밀봉장치.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 부틸고무로 이루어진 밀봉재(3)에 광물성의 충전재가 첨가된 것을 특징으로 하는 가용성 밀봉장치.
  3. 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 밀봉재(3)를 피스톤 펌프 및 후속의 기어 펌프에 의해서, 상기의 가열가능한 도포 노즐로 운반하고, 도포 노즐을, 자유롭게 프로그래밍 가능한 궤적 제어에 의해서, 소정의 밀봉면(2)을 따라서 안내하여, 밀봉재(3)의 냉각후 양쪽의 케이싱 부분을 접합시켜 밀봉재(3)를 소성변형시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 가용성 밀봉장치 제작 방법.
  4. 제 3 항에 있어서, 밀봉재(3)를 도포노즐에서 130℃ 내지 170℃로 가열하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가용성 밀봉장치 제작 방법.
  5. 제 3 항 또는 제 4 항에 있어서, 밀봉재(3)가, 평면부를 붙인 둥근 끈으로서 형성된 나비 애벌레 형상체인 것을 특징으로 하는 가용성 밀봉장치 제작 방법.
  6. 제 1 항 내지 제 5 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 밀봉재(3)가 자동차내의 전자제어를 위한 양쪽의 케이싱 부분 사이에 단단히 조여져 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가용성 밀봉장치 또는 그 제작 방법의 응용.
