Claims (10)
- 뾰쪽해질 카테테르 단부 너머로 연장되는 맨드렐 위에 관형 카테테르를 위치하는 단계와,테이퍼진 내부 몰드 표면을 가지는 몰드를 가열하는 단계와,상기 내부 표면과 함께 카테테르 재료를 맞물림하기 위해 몰드안으로 카테테르 운반 맨드렐을 삽입하는 단계와,설정 카테테르 팁 너머로 연장되는 플래쉬와 상기 카테테르에 소정의 외부 표면을 형성하기 위해 카테테르 재료를 상기 내부 표면에 용융하고 유동하는 단계와,몰드로부터 맨드렐을 분리하는 단계와,몰드 및 카테테르안으로 대직경의 제2맨드렐을 삽입하는 단계 및,상기 제2맨드렐의 일부가 상기 카테테르의 팁을 절삭하기 위해 상기 몰드와 맞물릴 때까지 상기 제2맨드렐을 나아가게 하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 정맥 카테테르의 팁 베벨링 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 18 ga. 정맥 카테테르(IVC)에 대하여 제1맨드렐은 0.0838~0.0867cm(약 0.0330~0.0340) 직경을 가지고 제2맨드렐은 0.0927~0.0956cm(약 0.0365~0.0375) 직경을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 정맥 카테테르의 팁 베벨링 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 관형 카테테르는 폴리테트라플루오르에틸렌(polytetrafluoroethylene)로 이루어지고 몰드는 약 650℉~750℉ 범위로 가열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 정맥 카테테르의 팁 베벨링 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 몰드는 개방 제2단부를 가지고 상기 제1맨드렐은 몰드내에 삽입시 제2단부의 외부 및 몰드를 통하여 완전히 통과시키기 위한 크기인 것을 특징으로 하는 정맥 카테테르의 팁 베벨링 방법.
- 맨드렐 위에 관형 카테테르를 위치하는 단계와,테이퍼진 내부 몰드 표면을 가지는 몰드를 가열하는 단계와,내부 몰드 표면과 함께 카테테르를 맞물림하기 위해 몰드안으로 카테테르와 맨드렐을 삽입하는 단계와,설정 카테테르 팁 너머로 연장되는 플래쉬와 함께 상기 카테테르상에 소정의 외부 표면을 형성하기 위해 상기 내부 표면에 카테테르 재료를 용융하는 단계와,몰드로부터 카테테르와 맨드렐을 분리하는 단계 및,다이안으로 카테테르를 삽입하고 다이의 내부 표면내에 맨드렐을 접촉함으로써 플래쉬를 절단하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 정맥 카테테르의 팁 베벨링 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 다이의 내부 표면을 접촉하기 위해 사용된 맨드렐은 관형 카테테르가 가열 및 몰딩하기 위해 위치된 맨드렐과는 다른 맨드렐인 것을 특징으로 하는 정맥 카테테르의 팁 베벨링 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 다이의 내부 표면이 접촉되는 맨드렐은 카테테르를 성형하기 위해 내부 몰드 표면과 함께 카테테르를 맞물림하기 위해 몰드안으로 삽입된 동일 맨드렐인 것을 특징으로 하는 정맥 카테테르의 팁 베벨링 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 삽입 단계는 상기 몰드의 제2개방부 외부 및 상기 몰드를 통하여 상기 맨드렐이 완전히 통과되는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 정맥 카테테르의 팁 베벨링 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 관형 카테테르는 폴리테트라플루오르에틸렌(polytetrafluoroethylene)으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 정맥 카테테르의 팁 베벨링 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 몰드는 약 650℉~750℉ 온도로 가열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 정맥 카테테르의 팁 베벨링 방법.
